Site security and credit card information

The Patrol Base site uses a thawte SSL web server authentic site certificate. This offers secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the site at the point of checking out and providing your card details. The thawte authentic site seal is located on the right hand column of our home page and can be clicked to verify. At the point of checking out your credit card details are encrypted using 128 bit encryption and sent to us by email, once your order is received we decrypt your mail. For security reasons and your peace of mind, we NEVER store credit card information at our database level.

Your personal information

The first time you shop on our site you will be asked to provide us with your address and delivery information, you will also be asked to provide an email address and password. Your email address will be used as your login/username and for your order confirmation. This information is stored in our database so that next time you shop on our site you can quickly log in rather than filling in your details each time. The only information you are required to provide each time you shop are your credit card details. You can rest assured that we shall never pass your personal details on to any third party.

Ordering

We aim to ship all items within one to two working days of receiving your order, though we cannot guarantee this (UK regulations allow the supplier thirty days to dispatch goods). We try to keep as much as possible in stock, if an item is out of stock we will notify you by email. We will send you an email to confirm your order has been received. Once your order has been processed you will be notified by email on its dispatch. Price and availability information displayed on the Patrol Base web site are subject to change without notice. Shipments outside the European Union (EU) may be subject to local import charges and taxes, which are the responsibility of the purchaser.

All items being shipped from Patrol Base of weight up to 1Kg will be sent 1st class recorded.

Anything over 1Kg will be sent next day by carrier.

Payment Options

You can pay by Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Maestro, Solo, Electron or JCB. We can also accept a cheque or postal order in sterling made payable to ‘Patrol Base Ltd’ with an order printed out from the shopping cart checkout page.

Currencies

We have made it easy for overseas customers to view the prices of our products in a number of currencies. We ship goods to customers all over the world. To change your currency just click on the appropriate flag in the right hand column. Exchange rates are checked and updated regularly. Although the site will display in an alternative currency your order will come to us as sterling.

Postage

Our shopping cart will calculate your shipping costs which will be added to your grand total. Certain overseas customers will be contacted by email and advised of shipping charges. Once you confirm these costs your order will then be dispatched. If we are unable to fulfil all items within your order, we are likely to reduce the shipping cost when we process your order.

Pricing

Whilst we endeavour to ensure the prices on our website and in our website are as accurate as possible, we reserve the right to change a price or specification without notice. If a price is corrected due to exceptional circumstances, customers will be informed of the change before payment is processed and offered the opportunity to cancel the order.

Our Returns Policy

At Patrol Base we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items, so below is our returns policy:-

If for any reason you are displeased with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition, within 30 days, and we will send you a full refund for the price you paid for the item.

If you are returning an item it is your responsibility to insure the item during postage as we cannot be held responsible for damage during transit by any third party. We highly recommend that you pack your item extremely well, especially visors/googles and also take out insurance where the item is of high value.

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will refund your costs in returning it to us. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
