German Para Boots

Right, I'm going to break this review out into two parts; Firstly, the German army para boots are an exceptional bit of kit. The design is robust to the point of being pretty much bomb proof as well as being well designed and comfortable. These boots are built to withstand harsh conditions, which they do with ease. Secondly the company, Patrolbase. This is my first time ordering off their website, and at first I was a bit dubious. However the service has changed my mind. I ordered the boots on a Sunday with standard UK posting, and despite the recent bout of bad weather, the boots arrived early Tuesday afternoon. One point to Patrolbase. The boots themselves come in at the cheapest price I've seen for this particular style at £30 (As an addendum, the condition of the particular boots I received was no less than Super Grade military surpus, which makes the price point even more exceptional). Two points to Patrolbase. Lastly, when I opened the packaging and examined my boots, I was very happy to see that someone had taken the time to polish the boots themselves, which is an extremely nice touch. In all, top marks to Patrolbase for teh quality of their customer service and particularly the condition and price of their wares, and concerning the boots, if you want a pair of bomb proof boots that'll probably out-last you, then the German Para Boots are pretty much the only ones you'll want to be getting.

I wasn't sure what quality expect since the price was so good, but hearing favourable reviews I took the plunge and ordered a pair at the weekend. After a slight delay due to them running out of my size they expedited a pair out to me as soon as they got them in stock and I had them by Thursday morning. I must say the quality is far higher than I expected! There's some slight wear on the sole as normal but the leather is in excellent condition. Over all with the quality of the boots and the great customer service I'm a very happy chappy, top marks to Patrol Base! I will most certainly be returning in future.
