The Army Armament R604 is a Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol based on the Hi-Capa frame, which is known for its good gas performance due to large Magazines. The lightweight Slide also benefits the Pistol's performance, by having less weight to move around, giving it a snappy Trigger Response and better cold weather performance than standard.

Description
The R604 is constructed with an Alloy Slide and Frame, which gives it a realistic weight and makes it very tough. The Pistol Grip covers are Polymer as you would expect, but have been Stippled to provide excellent Grip even when wearing Gloves.
The Flared Magwell Extension Piece makes for much faster reloads, helping to guide the Magazine into the right position, and can be removed if you so wish. The Slide is a ventilated design which looks great, and also helps reduce overall weight.
A gnarly looking Compensator sits on the front of the Pistol and looks exceptionally cool when the Slide is cycling. Underneath the frame you will find a 20mm Pistol Rail which can be used to install an accessory such as a Torch, Laser or even a Mini Grenade Launcher if you really want to punish the enemy team!
A Beavertail Safety sits on the Pistol Grip, and won't let the Pistol fire unless it is being gripped properly. The Extended Magazine Release is threaded, allowing you to install extension plates if you want a larger button, and is located on the left side of the pistol grip, right beneath the shooter's thumb for an easy and intuitive reload process.
The Pistol features an Adjustable HOP-up Unit which is accessed by removing the Top Slide completely. To do this, line up the smaller cutout on the Slide with the Slide Release, push the Slide Release out completely and pull the Slide off the Frame forwards. Reverse these steps to re-install the Slide. The HOP-up Unit will apply backspin to your BBs, and by using heavy BBs (0.25g+) and the correct settings, you can theoretically improve range and consistency.
The Top Slide of the Pistol features High Profile Ironsights, which are very useful if you choose to use the included Sight Mount Plate to install a Red Dot Sight on the Slide. This included mount can be used to replace the plate on the Top of the Slide to install a standard Compact Red Dot Sight. The High Profile Ironsights are so that they can still be used if you have a Sight mounted to the Slide.
Included in the box is a 28rnd Gas Magazine, a User Manual and the R604 Pistol itself. If you're looking for a snappy and responsive Hi-Capa Platform that is made to a tough standard and can have a Red Dot Sight installed, then the Army Armament R604 is a good choice.

Special Instructions
The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
