A&K MK46 Retractable Stock

Thanks to its realistic material construction, this Airsoft replica MK46 feels and handles similarly to the real thing, having a satisfying bulk and weight to it. The weapon is almost entirely constructed from alloy, with only the handguard, pistol grip and AR / M4 style stock being constructed from polymer.

Just like the real thing, this Airsoft replica possesses a folding bipod, built into the front handguard and heatshield. The bipod is easy to deploy, allowing you to get set up and fire from a fixed position quickly, ensuring that you can unleash a hail of suppressive fire in mere seconds. Each bipod leg can be independently adjusted for height, allowing you to set up a stable position on a wide range of terrain types.

This variant of the M249 has been modernised, with the addition of a new handguard / heatshield stock, designed to enhance the practicality and ergonomics of the weapon. The traditional M249 stock has been replaced by an ergonomic AR / M4 style retractable stock, which can be adjusted through a variety of positions for user comfort.

The handguard / heatshield has been comprehensively redesigned and now features a grand total of six, full-length 20mm RIS rails, allowing the attachment of a wide variety of weapon accessories. Lasers, flashlights, QD sling mounts, grips, even Airsoft grenade launchers – you can customise your MK46 to your heart’s content. The MK46’s top cover also features a 20mm RIS rail for the installation of optics and scopes, in addition to the weapon’s original fully adjustable ironsights.

As you would expect of a support weapon, the MK46 Retractable Stock is supplied with an electronic box magazine with a staggering 2400 BB round capacity. If you (somehow) manage to burn through all that ammunition in a game, this Airsoft replica can be fed from Airsoft STANAG M4 AEG magazines, similarly to the real M249 design. Rather than having to return to the safe zone to reload your box magazine, you can just borrow your mates’ magazines!

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
