Description

If you're looking for an authentic and awesome LMG experience, then you're in the right place! This hefty beast clocks in a total 6.8kg and is made from Alloy and Aluminium, with Polymer being used for the Pistol Grip. This version of the M249 Minime comes with the Para Stock on the rear, which is a two position Stock that can be fully extended simply by pulling and twisting it. The M249 also features a rather large 20mm Railed Handguard, which is ready to accept Foregrips, Lasers and other 20mm RIS compatible accessories. The Loading Tray / Upper Receiver also features a 20mm Rail for the installation of Sights and Scopes. A set of integrated Ironsights can be found on top of the Gun, which can very quickly be adjusted for Windage and Elevation, meaning you can rapidly send accurate shots out to different ranges (once you have learned how to correctly estimate range, that is). The Outer Barrel Assembly features a 14mm CCW Thread underneath the Flash Hider, which can be unscrewed to make use of the Thread, for Suppressors and Tracer Units. An integrated and deployable Bipod can be found underneath the Handguard, to help you get settled in a prone position, take weight off your wrists, and generally improve your comfort in the field. The final external party-trick of this M249 is its' ability to accept a standard M4 / STANAG .223 Magazine rather than the included 2500rnd Box Magazine, meaning you can easily borrow magazines off your teammates, should things hit the proverbial fan.

The Gun is Front Wired, meaning the Mini Tamiya Connector is stored inside the Handguard. To install your Battery (7.4v LiPo Crane recommended), you will need to remove the Outer Barrel Assembly. Simply press down on the lever at the rear of the Handguard and pull the Barrel away from the Gun. The HOP Unit will pull away with the Barrel, which can then be adjusted should you need. Install your Battery and push-fit the Barrel back into the Receiver, making sure that the Feed Tube is aligned with the Loading Tray on the side. If you need more access to the Battery Compartment or the Fuse needs replacing, the Handguard can be split into two parts by removing the Allen Screws from the top portion of the Handguard. The Stock is deployed by pulling it backwards and then twisting it to lock in the open position.

The Box Magazine is easier to use than it looks, and needs the side panel to be pulled off to fill it with BBs. From here, you can also install 2 x AA Batteries to get the Magazine working. A switch on the bottom of the Mag lets you choose between Off, Constant Winding or Automatic (Sound Control). Simply slide the Magazine into the slot underneath the Gun, and then connect the Feed Tube to the Magazine Well. Alternatively, you can use any M4 / AR / STANAG Magazine.

If you're looking to get into the Support Gunner role, or you just want a highly realistic, fully licensed, heavyweight replica that can absolutely lay down the pain on Skirmish day, then the Cyber Gun M249 SPW Light Machine Gun is the perfect choice.

Please note that if you open the Upper Receiver / Loading Tray, you will need to pull back the Charging Handle a little bit as you close the Loading Tray, otherwise it won't lock in place.

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
