Description

This Airsoft SMG-5 replica is electric powered, and is part of the 'Blue Limited Edition' series of uprated CYMA Airsoft Electric Guns, which feature better internals than you would expect to find on an out-of-the-box gun at this price point. Not only that, but the externals have had more attention in the form of Zinc Aluminium externals, which are robust and help add a world of realism to what would normally be a boring lump of plastic. The choice of internals results in a surprisingly sharp performance, with a trigger response that the SMG-5 platform was previously lacking, making this an incredibly strong choice for Outdoor and Indoor players alike.

The Outer Barrel Assembly and Upper Receiver are made from Zinc Aluminium for a tough, robust build which doesn't creak or wobble in the shoulder. Not only this, but it helps bring the total weight to a rounded 3KG, which really makes it feel like the real article. The rest of the externals are Polymer as per the real firearm, which are made with a high density Polymer which looks and feels amazing. 

The end of the RIF features a 14mm CCW Thread for the attachment of Muzzle Devices such as Suppressors, Tracer Units and Compensators. To access the thread you will need to remove the current Flash Hider by releasing the retaining lug, then rotating and pulling the Flash Hider off the Muzzle. The Handguard features 20mm rails at the 3, 6 and 9 position, which is ideal for the included Foregrip, as well as Lasers, Lights, Grenade Launchers and much more. The Receiver layout is a standard SMG-5 affair, which features an Ambidextrous Magazine Release and Fire Selector, making this Airsoft SMG-5 very friendly for Left Handed Players. The back of the gun has a two position Folding Stock which can be tucked away to immediately cut the overall length of the replica nearly in half. This is perfect for storing/transporting the RIF, or for when you approach a very tight corner in an Airsoft skirmish. The Stock also has a set of QD Sling Sockets for the installation of Quick Release Sling Loops. A Slider Type Hop Adjust can be found behind the Mock Bolt when the Charging Handle is pulled to the rear. The Charging Handle can be locked back by pulling it upwards when it is in the rear position. Please don't slap the Charging Handle to send it forward again, as this can cause damage.

Internally, the replica is based around the Version 2 Gearbox, which is the most well established design, and makes it very compatible with upgrade components. Inside the Gearbox you will find: Steel Gears on 7mm Bearings, a reinforced metal Spring Guide with Bearings, Polycarbonate Piston w/ Metal Teeth, Type 1 Cylinder with Copper Substrate coating and a High Torque Motor. All this comes together to provide a great shooting experience with a short and snappy Trigger Response, something that the SMG-5 family has been lacking for some time (without spending many £s on upgrades).

Included in the box is a 200rnd High Cap Magazine, 8.4v 1200mAh NiMH Battery, EU Pin Charger, a 20mm Foregrip and the gun itself.
