Description
CYMA brings us the CM.057A Airsoft electric gun, which is based off the iconic Dragunov SVD, the real steel equivalent being issued in 1963 to the Soviet Union.
Now you can own a piece of history, with this replica having the same full metal construction everywhere the real world counterpart would. This variant features a tactical black look, rather than the standard wood design usually seen on the traditional SVD. The handguard and stock are constructed from high density polymer, which can take knocks no problem but keeps the rifle relatively lightweight and agile.
The sights are similar to that of an AK47 being that the rear is a tangent open sight, which keeps a good amount of peripheral vision when aiming at those long distance targets that the SVD is so happy to pick off.
Included is a low cap magazine, along with the semi-auto firing setting on the rifle it comes together to bring you an authentic historical sniping experience. The stock features a comfortable cheek rest so you can enjoy an easy aiming experience for long periods of time. Your cheek will thank you!
The battery compartment is located in the handguard and is accessed by rotating the lock at the front of the guard downward and removing one of the panels. There you will find a mini-Tamiya connector, one of the most supported tye of battery connector. We recommend using a 7.4v 1300mAh 25C LiPo Stick, as this will fit the inside of the handguard with ease.
So for all you snipers interested in more of a Russian loadout, the CM.057A is a great replica of a Dragunov SVD. With it's classic deisgn updated with some more modern features you can pick off far away targets with no trouble at all. While the rifle is long, it is surprisingly lightweight thanks to it's polymer construction, allowing you to set up your sniper nest without tiring you out.
A great budget friendly starter sniper at, but will also accommodate more experienced shooters who enjoy skirmishing with more of a Russian aesthetic.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
