Description

The most prominent feature of the P14 is the Grip; rather than the narrow Single Stack of the 1911, the Grip is Wide and Comfortable, designed to allow the use of Hi-Capa Double Stacked magazines. The pistol features all Alloy construction, with only the Grip Plates and Trigger Lock Safety being constructed from Polymer. Externally the pistol is finished in a smooth black colouring, however the Barrel, Ejection Port, Hammer and Trigger are finished in unpainted, Highly Polished Bare Metal, creating an interesting visual appearance. The Trigger and the Hammer are unique external components, being Skeletal designs; the Trigger features a stylish 3-hole design. Blending the best of the 1911 and the 5.1, The pistol possesses several features seen on the 1911 such as the Grip Trigger Disconnect Safety and the Trigger Lock, however the 5.1 has influenced the controls as well. The Trigger Lock Safety is, as per the 5.1, Ambidextrous and widened to enhance user accessibility, and the Rear Iron Sights of the 1911 have been replaced by Adjustable, Open Target Sights of the 5.1.

Special Instructions

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
