Coming out of the box at sub 350FPS, this Sniper Rifle leaves you with the option of using it wherever you like, (even in CQB) but can be upgraded beyond believe using all manner of VSR Parts. Description

This Bolt Action Sniper Rifle is built to an awesome standard, using the high quality Polymer compounds that sets Evolution rifles apart from the crowd.  The Outer Barrel Assembly is made from CNC Machined Aluminium, and features a 6.03mm Precision Inner Barrel inside, to provide excellent accuracy and consistency out of the box. A 20mm Rail sits on top of the Receiver, ready for any kind of Airsoft Sight or Scope, but will accept any kind of 20mm accessory (should you wish to get a bit spicy!).

The Stock/Lower Receiver Assembly of the Evolution Airsoft M40 is made from a gorgeous, high density Fibre Reinforced Polymer that feels amazing in the hands, and easily rivals Airsoft Guns that are twice the price. The Stock features QD Sling Sockets, allowing you to connect Quick Release Sling Loops on either side of the Rifle, allowing for a number of Sling Setups. The Stock also includes a 20mm Bipod Rail on the underside, which could be used for a Torch/Laser Unit, but should ideally be used to connect a 20mm Bipod to make aiming whilst prone more stable. A Harris-style Bipod Lug can also be found, giving you the option of installing a Bipod this way instead. The rear of the Stock features several removable adapters to increase/decrease the length of the Stock, allowing you to set the arm length just right for you. The Cheek Rest can also be adjusted for height, allowing you to quickly return to the same position when aiming through a Scope, helping you to get your shots on target much faster. Finally, a Trigger Lock Safety can be found on the offside of the Stock, just behind the Cocking Handle. This will stop the Trigger from moving and will make the Gun safe. As is tradition in the world of 'Evolution Airsoft', a Unique Serial Number can be found on the side of the Receiver, to help identify your Rifle should you ever need to prove it is yours. A Textured Grip on the surface of the Stock improves grip and handling, even when wearing Gloves.

The main talking piece of the Evolution Airsoft M40 Sniper Rifle is that it is 'VSR Compatible'. What this means is that the Rifle is widely compatible with 'VSR' type upgrades (VSR being a shape of Sniper Rifle that is incredibly popular, hence the wide variety of aftermarket parts available). This is a great advancement for the M40 platform, as these 'cool-looking rifles' usual operate on proprietary parts, meaning that it would be difficult to upgrade.

Included in the box is the Rifle separated into the Upper Receiver and Lower Receiver/Stock; they simply need pushing together and the screws included in the box installing through the bottom of the Stock. Also included in the box is a 30rnd Magazine which holds more than enough rounds to hold your ground for a reasonable time, but are slim enough to carry in bulk for prolonged engagements. If you're looking for a highly affordable, incredibly well built and VSR-compatible Airsoft Sniper Rifle that looks a little different to the usual offerings, then the Evolution Airsoft M40 is perfect for you.
