Description
As tracer units get smaller and smaller, G&G has dethroned the Ghost Spitfire Tracer unit as the world's smallest tracer. Though the UVT106 does not include a muzzle flash function, it is considerably smaller than the Spitfire, making it very well suited to speedsoft Hi-capa setups, or any other GBB pistol which requires a tracer for its psychological warfare advantage, or for tracking your shots to make aiming more instinctive.
Many GBB pistols with a realistic tilting barrel action struggle with gas efficiency when a suppressor or tracer is mounted, including the highly popular EU series and Hi-capa GBB pistols. The UVT106 seeks to eliminate this issue by providing a featherweight tracer unit that is every bit as powerful as a standard full-length unit thanks to its internal rechargeable battery.
The on/off dial can be found at the front of the unit, and requires only a slight rotation to activate the unit. The on and off positions are helpfully marked with a solid dot to indicate the on position, and an "o" to indicate off. This makes this unit perfect for a rifle setup wherein the tracer is slightly recessed into the rails, as it means you can turn the tracer on and off without removing it from the rifle.
The short overall length of this unit makes it perfect for CQB, as it is only a hair longer than an M4/AR15 birdcage flash hider you can sport all the advantages of a tracer unit without compromising the handling of your weapon by adding more length. The unit is constructed with an aluminium shell and nylon polymer front cap with an aggressive look, and a nylon polymer rear cap which incorporates 14mm CCW threading and the charging port for a Micro USB cable (not included).
