Description

This SMG-5 platform offers no surprises to those familiar with the platform, as this is a replica of the "original" This Airsoft 6mm electric powered SMG-5 is an Alloy and Polymer constructed replica of the traditional SMG-5 layout, favoured by Airsofters doing SAS/Police loadouts. we're all used to seeing in the movies. It offers an Alloy outer barrel assembly, upper receiver, stock guides and trim/fire controls, as well as a Polymer handguard, stock pad, flash hider and lower receiver. The magazine is a 240rnd high capacity clockwork wound magazine and is made from Steel to help it survive being thrown around in true SAS fashion.

At the front, mid and rear of the replica there are sling points for the addition of slings to make the platform easier to carry all day, and so you can utilise a sidearm like a true operator. More bonus points for ergonomics; the fire selector and magazine release are ambidextrous, meaning they can be operated from both sides of the replicas. This makes this This Airsoft 6mm electric powered SMG-5 is an Alloy and Polymer constructed replica of the traditional SMG-5 layout, favoured by Airsofters doing SAS/Police loadouts. very handed for left handed shooters, or those who like to transition shoulders on corners. A 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel can be found under the Polymer flash hider, which lets you attach all manner of suppressors and tracer units.

Included in the box is an 8.4v 1100mAH battery and EU 2 pin charger which should function fine out of the box, however we always recommend an aftermarket battery and charger setup. If you're looking to do a 'Black Bag' setup, need a compact primary to keep you light on your toes all day, or want a reliable backup that can stow away in the kit bag, you can rely on the Jing Gong M5-J.

Special Instructions:

As tempting as it may be, please avoid attempting the iconic 'Charging Handle Slap' as this could cause damage to the faux charging handle, especially when cold. The 'Charging Handle Slap' is where you lock the charging handle to the rear, replace the magazine and slap the top of the charging handle to spring it forward into place.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
