Description

A compact and concealable gun with a high rate of fire, the JG SMG-5k is designed as a personal defence weapon for use in situations where a full sized SMG would be impractical.

Based on the tried and tested SMG-5 platform, the SMG-5K offers users a pocket-sized SMG with incredibly familiar controls.

The SMG features is constructed from full metal alloy, giving it a realistic and weighty feel, while also making it tough and durable so you can do the immensely satisfying 'SMG bolt snap' with the charging handle, no worries on harming the integrity of the rough and ready design.

The main feature of this variant is the alloy quad 20mm RIS / RAS rail system along the handguard with space for attaching numerous sights, grips, torches and lasers to suit your specific playstyle or any given mission. Additionally the top rail run along the full length of the SMG to allow for maximum customisation including larger sites and lasers.

Mounted above the handguard we have the fully hooded front sight, which protects the sight from knocks and bumps and provides an outer circle for rapid snap shooting when there isn't time to aim properly. Working in tandem with the front sight is the rotary drum sight which provides an 4 point adjustable aperture to adjust your aiming on the fly, depending on the range of your targets and what kind of accuracy you find yourself requiring.

Another feature of this gun is the sliding Hop-up unit, with the option to adjust it for windage, elevation and range. The adjuster is external and present on the left side of the AEG, just in front of the magazine well.

This AEG is optimised in its external layout for CQB operations but its superb out of the box rate of fire meaning you can lay down some serious sprays either as your primary or sidearm.

The battery compartment is located within the rear of the gun, accessed by removing the two pins that hold the back plate to the body.

The JG SMG-5K with RIS /RAS rails is a must-have for any SMG-5 enthusiast, which specialises in CQB combat, but also would make for an ideal secondary weapon for any airsoft sniper. With it's realistic feel and range of customisation you can get up close and person and dominate any mission you find yourself in.

Special Instructions

To adjust the hop you must move the lever behind the AEG's RIS Rail. By moving the Hop-Up Lever towards the Muzzle of the SMG-5K decreases the Hop, and towards the mag well increases it.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
