Description

This updated version of the Grease Gun (the M3A1) was brought into service two years after the original model (Dec 1944), and featured a number of modifications to the original design. Most notably was the removal of the original Charging Handle, leaving users to operate the Open Bolt System with their fingers. This change was presumably brought about as a resolution to 'runaways', where the Gun would fire non-stop because the Charging Handle had been bumped - a likely issue with Open Bolt Firearms.

This Airsoft Electric Gun replica of the M3A1 is made to a stunning standard, using realistic materials and processes for the external, being made mostly from Steel and Stamped Steel. A few external components are made from Aluminium/Zinc Alloy, such as the Barrel and other small 'trim' items. This gives it a realistic weight of 2.905kg and a fantastic feel in the hands; this is definitely a strong choice for re-enactors and WWII American loadouts.

Just like the real thing, this model is Full Auto only, being controlled by an Electronic Trigger. This makes for a much more pleasant Trigger Pull and longer lifespan, thanks to the microswitch system rather than traditional trigger contacts. Behind the Mock Bolt you will find a Slider-type HOP Adjust, which can be used to add backspin to your BBs, and keep them in the air for longer. To access this, just pull back on the Mock Bolt with your finger. Your Battery should be installed in the Pistol Grip, where you will find a Mini Tamiya Connector. To access the Battery Compartment, flip the switch on the underside of the Pistol Grip to the rear and the plate should fall out, giving access. Reverse this process to reinstall the cover.

The included Magazine is a High Cap design, allowing you to spray and pray from the hip. The Magazine holds a total of 500rnds and is filled from the top by pouring BBs into the Fill Window. Wind the clockwork wheel on the base of the Magazine to start feeding BBs into the Gun.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
