Specna Arms Daniel Defense® MK18 SA-E19 EDGE™ Aster Edition

The MK18 is another Gun that has an almost-cult following, due to it being a current issue for Special Forces, and also due to the beautiful 20mm Rail System. This replica features a fully licensed Daniel Defense MK18 Rail System with numbered Rail Slots and all the appropriate markings, which, for the price, makes this an exceptional offering. This replica being part of the EDGE Series also gives it the benefit of a MOSFET, incredible external build quality with Nanocoating, as well as a Unique Serial Number.

The MK18 SA-E19 EDGE is constructed to a fantastic standard, as Specna Arms usually do for their higher end models, and features Zinc Aluminium for the Outer Barrel Assembly, Receiver and Buffer Tube, with Nylon Fibre Reinforced Polymer being used for the Pistol Grip and Stock. Various trim components of the Rifle (such as Screws and the Sling Plate) are made from Steel. The Receiver features a Nano Coating finish to prevent scratches and keep the body in good nick. The Receiver also has a Unique Serial Number which is great for identifying/proving ownership of your Replica.

The Outer Barrel features a Birdcage type Flash Hider which can be unscrewed to reveal a 14mm CCW Thread for Suppressors, Tracer Units and other Muzzle Devices. The 20mm Rail System is Daniel Defense licensed as mentioned, and features Numbered Rail Slots as well as all the markings that should be on the real thing. The Receiver also has a 20mm Rail which comes with a set of Flip-Up Ironsights installed out of the box. The Receiver features Daniel Defense trademarks, as well as typical AR Platform Fire Controls, such as a Safe/Semi/Auto Fire Selector. The rear of the Receiver features an Ambidextrous Sling Plate, which allows a Sling to be connected from either side of the Gun, making it comfortable for Left and Right Handed users. The Adjustable Stock will move to one of Six Positions, to suit all shapes and sizes of user, and is also where your Battery should be installed. Simply squeeze the tabs at the rear of the Stock to remove the Rubber Butt Pad, and access the Deans connector inside. A Deans to Mini Tamiya Converter Lead is included in the box, if you wish to use the traditional Mini Tamiya Connector. We recommend a 7.4v 1450mAh LiPo for this AEG for the best combination of performance and ease of installation.

Internally the Gun features a Rotary HOP Unit, which can be accessed by pulling back on the Charging Handle. This allows you to apply backspin to your BBs and theoretically improve range and consistency, when paired with the right BB weight and HOP settings. The other major feature of this RIF is the ESA™ Quick Change Spring System, which allows you to rapidly change the Main Spring of the Gun without having to disassemble the Gearbox. This is a massive advantage to those who play at multiple sites with different power limits, or those who want the option of quickly changing over to DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) rules. Simply remove the Stock and Buffer Tube to gain access to the Spring Guide. The 'ORION Gearbox' featured inside has a reinforced frame to handle high power springs and is designed around their quick change spring system.
