Specna Arms Rock River Arms SA-E11 EDGE™ Carbine AEG

Designed and built by Specna Arms this brand new M4 variant is part of the brand new EDGE series, which are based on and fully licensed by River Rock Arms, a real steel manufacturing company based in the USA. The rifle is heavily pre-upgraded, featuring Specna Arm's Orion Gearbox, and the Gate X-ASR MOSFET pre-installed out the box.

This rifle is an electric powered Airsoft rifle, which is powered by a gearbox system powered by a motor and batteries to fire the BBs. The gearbox allows the weapon to fire in semi and fully automatic fire modes, and works in all weather conditions.

The rifle is constructed almost entirely from alloy, with an alloy hand guard, outer barrel, receiver, buffer tube, and charging handle, with a polymer grip, foregrip, stock and flip-up iron sights. The set comes with the rifle, two Magazines, a foregrip and flip-up iron sight set, giving you everything you need to start playing right away.

The rifle comes pre-upgraded as it is part of the EDGE series, a new series of Specna Arms rifle specially upgraded as higher range weapons ready to go right out of the box. The gearbox is a standard V2 gearbox, but with plenty of upgrades to make the weapon perfect out of the box, made possible by high quality Aluminium and Steel internal parts for optimum performance. With a pre-upgraded Piston, Nozzle, Cylinder Head, Spring Guide and Gears. The weapon also features a high quality MOSFET developed by gate, the 4th generation GATE X-ASR MOSFET. The MOSFET has a huge array of features including: Polarity Protection, a Smart Fuse system, built-in self testing capability and Trigger de-bouncing. This MOSFET leaves you with a higher rate of fire, a faster trigger response, with a MOSFET less prone to overheating. The weapon also features a 6.03mm diameter inner barrel for higher range and accuracy, as well as a quick access Pistol Grip for swapping out the motor, and a rotary hop-up unit.

The hop-up unit is designed to add range and accuracy to the weapon by applying backspin to the BB as it travels down the barrel to displace air as it travels. This create a cushion of air around the BB making it more stable and improve performance. This hop-up unit is different from standard hop-up units as it features a radial style adjuster which allows for more fine adjustments for the perfect setup. The hop is fully adjustable allowing for the use of a wide range of BB weights, allowing the use of lightweight 0.20g BBs, all the way up to more heavy 0.28g BBs for outdoor game play.

Externally the rifle has many unique and functional parts to make it truly stand out from the crowd. The weapon features all the standard parts of an AR, but takes the rifle to the next level by adding more unique parts. The front of the weapon features a mock suppressor for looks, a four point 20mm RIS / RAS rail for attaching aftermarket parts and accessories, as well as a full length top rail for large sight and scope setups, an Ambidextrous sling plate and six position Adjustable Stock.

The suppressor acts as an outer barrel extender to cover the inner barrel, giving the weapon a more unique look, and can also be removed to reveal the weapon's 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel allowing the attachment of a wide variety of aftermarket silencers and suppressors, with 14mm CCW being the most common thread type on the Airsoft market.

The four point hand guard features 20mm RIS / RAS rails at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions, allowing for aftermarket launchers, bipods, grips, torches and other attachments to customise the weapon to the players specific needs. The top rail also lines up with the top rail of the receiver to create a longer rail for more complicated sight and scope setups such as advanced holographic and magnifier configurations.

The rear sling plate is ambidextrous, meaning that a sling can be attached to both the left and right side of the rifle depending on the shooters preference, allowing a single point to be shouldered on either side for better performance in CQB environments where the switching of shoulders is constantly required.

The very rear of the rifle features an adjustable crane stock, which can be adjusted up to six positions, and also doubles up as the rifles battery storage compartment. The storage compartment can comfortably house either a 9.6v Ni-Mh battery, or a 7.4v crane stock lipo, giving plenty of options for battery choices. The stock is also rubberised to prevent slippage and features a left and right QD sling mount slot for single point sling setups.

Recommended Battery

For this rifle we recommend a 7.4v LiPo with Tamiya or Deans connector in stick or crane stock configuration.

Special Instructions

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
