Specna Arms SA-E24 EDGE™ Carbine AEG

The SA-E24 Specna continues with their outstanding licensed replicas with the SA-E24 EDGE. Featuring a combination of cutting-EDGE internals, a tough but sleek design and construction with the potential for an array of personal touches, such as accessories for whatever battle you’re wanting to dominate. 

The Gate X-ASR MOSFET in combination with robust internals allow for a high rate of fire, while also remaining flexible with an ESA™ quick change spring system so you can be ready for any situation by allowing you to easily switch the spring via the buffer/stock tube. Featuring a beautifully finished alloy guard construction and a firm polymer body, this is an eye-catching weapon that gets the job done with the modern efficiency expected of an enhanced M4/AR15 AEG. 

The externals are made from a mix of Aluminium and Zinc Alloy which undergo a rigorous course of Sand Blasting, Powder Coating and then Anodising to achieve a world-class finish on their metal-work. This finish is then protected by a 'Nano Coating' finish that resists scratches more effectively than most metal finishes. This means that even if you like to use your AEG in a rough and ready way, the SA-E24 is up to the task. The external trim parts of the rifle such as structural screws and supports are made from Steel to ensure a long-life performance and the rigidity to handle the intense Airsoft skirmish environment.  

As a particularly high density polymer is used for the construction of the body, holding the rifle has a high quality feel in hand with a resilient structure designed with Airsoft skirmishing in mind. A textured pistol grip is effective for use for any method of personal operation. The grip is a great looking design, while functionally allowing for quick access to the motor, no tools required! 

At the muzzle end of the replica is the traditional M4/AR15 birdcage flash hider which can be unscrewed to reveal a 14mm CCW thread underneath. This allows you to attach suppressors, alternative flash hiders, muzzle brakes or any compatible muzzle device to further enhance the look and feel of your AEG, or add some skirmish functionality with a tracer unit or suppressor to stay adaptive or depending on the mission at hand! 

One of the main advantages of the SA-E24 is the authentic look. As it’s trying to be as lifelike to the M4/AR15 as possible, the rifle build is that of a 14.5-inch carbine, a truly definitive combat piece. 

The handguard is constructed from Aluminium and Zinc Alloys which makes it very tough and durable, also keeping the overall weight of the rifle low and easy to move with swiftly. The SA-E24 features a free floated M-LOK handguard, with a full 20mm Picatinny rail at the 12 o'clock position for PEQ laser units and tactical flashlights, should the mission require it. Either side of the Rail Systems feature M-LOK slots, allowing you to add M-LOK accessories, or 20mm Picatinny rail sections should you wish to add more rails or accessories for any potential conflict that might arise! 

The entire assembly is secured to the receiver tightly and has absolutely no wobble, giving the SA-E24 a realistic heft and feel in the shoulder. The six position sliding stock at the rear is a “Crane SF” style stock, and is also where the battery is housed. The battery compartment of the SA-E24 is within its crane stock, and can house up to a 7.4V 1300 mAh LiPo battery in nunchuck/crane configuration. The battery compartment can be accessed through the butt plate of the stock. This can be achieved by pushing the two protruding tabs at the toe of the stock together, and then through the stock to the rear, after which the butt plate can be pulled downwards, and removed. With the butt plate removed, you can remove the battery compartment plug, and insert your battery into the "cheeks" of the stock, connecting up the mini-Tamiya connector found inside the buffer tube to your battery. 

As with all of Specna’s EDGE series, the quality continues internally with a wealth of parts which would be considered an advancement over many other AEGs. A Rotary Hop Unit gives you fine and precise control over flight path, and being coupled with a precision 6.03mm barrel makes for a sleek and skillful firing experience, the enemy won’t know what hit them!  

In the same way the rifle imitates the real deal, the Specna features a realistic looking ejection port. The ejection port is an opening in the upper receiver through which spent shells are ejected on a real M4/AR15. On the majority of Airsoft M4/AR15 rifles, this is where you will find your HOP adjuster, sometimes hidden behind a mock bolt carrier which will need to be retracted using the charging handle before the HOP can be adjusted. The 'ORION Gearbox' featured inside has a reinforced frame to handle high power springs and is designed around their quick change spring system. At the end of this Specna, the butt stock is a classic M4/AR15 design, however it is fully detachable so if in the future you wish to personalize your weapon to your ideal specialist look. 

Included in the box are two Mid Cap 125rnd magazines of a modern Polymer magazine design, which has tiny Specna Arms logos, the mark of true quality!
