Description
The 'Prototype Division' is a new production line from the SRU brand, who manufacture components and body kits for Airsoft Guns using 3D-Weaving technology. This allows them to quickly develop and bring their ideas to market, for a reasonable price; filling the 'fun' part of Airsoft by allowing you to make your Airsoft Guns look crazier than ever before!
This Conversion Kit is designed for Hi-Capa Pistols from a range of brands, and is probably one of the more difficult kits to install, given how complicated it is. This Body Kit will turn your Hi-Capa Pistol into a Bullpup Carbine, relocating the Magazine behind the Trigger Group. This kit offers a multi-position Sliding Stock, as well as a 20mm Rail on the top for Sights and Scopes, and side 20mm Rails for accessories such as Torches, Lasers and Grips. It comes with an extension piece for the front end that adds more 'handguard' and more rail space should you want more room for accessories, or just if you think it looks good. Both sections of the Handguard feature a slot for any kind of Suppressor/Tracer Unit you have installed on the Pistol. Should you want to sling the Conversion Kit, there is a QD Sling Socket on either side of the rear-end. The kit can accept both standard and extended magazines, but for the best looks, extended 50rnd Hi-Capa mags are recommended.
As mentioned, this kit is one of the more difficult SRU Conversion Kits to install, however, step-by-step picture instructions are included to make it as easy as possible. To let you know what you're getting in for, your Hi-Capa will need to be stripped down to it's bare frame, trigger removed, magazine release removed and the beavertail assembly will need rebuilding inside the kit, but aside from this it is relatively straight forward. I have next to no technical skills, and managed to successfully build one.
If you own a Hi-Capa Pistol from TM, WE, KJ Works or Armorer Works, and you want to completely convert it into a menacing Carbine with Extending Stock and more 20mm Rails than you can shake a stick at, then the SR PDW Kit for Hi-Capa will definitely turn some heads.
