- Full metal construction
- CO2-powered - Insane recoil
- High FPS - Ideal for target shooting
If you're after a stylish target shooting piece, the Swiss Arms Navy Pistol XXL Airline CO2 GBB is a solid choice. A full metal build officially licensed by Swiss Arms, this CO2-powered GBB pistol boasts incredible recoil, superb winter performance and an impressive 390 FPS muzzle velocity using 0.20g BBs, making it ideal for AIPSC competitions and plinking targets on your home range.
Inspired by the "X-Five" variant of the real steel, the Navy Pistol XXL boasts an extended 5-inch barrel and omits the usual decocker in favour of a more competition-friendly ambidextrous manual safety catch. It also features an extended beavertail to encourage a consistent grip, an adjustable rear sight for perfect accuracy when zeroed and a 20mm Picatinny frame rail in case you want to add a tactical flashlight or aiming laser.
A unique marriage of F226 and Hi-Capa features, the Swiss Arms Navy Pistol XXL Airline CO2 GBB makes a great addition to an F-series collection and is an incredible experience to shoot as a bonus!

Description
Starting at the front, we can find mock rifling at the tip of the 5-inch extended barrel. This makes the Navy Pistol XXL a fantastic piece for realistic photoshoots or film prop use, but prevents a tracer or suppressor from being fitted without an aftermarket threaded barrel.
Next up, we reach the extended X-Five-style slide, boasting front and rear slide serrations for easy racking in any weather conditions. On the left side, we have a discrete Swiss Arms laser marking. The slide is made from well-finished alloy with a dual-tone effect, giving it the sporty looks expected of a competition-style sidearm.
The front and rear sights differ from the usual F226 combat sights, offering a raised front blade and a fully adjustable rear sight, both equipped with glare-reducing texture for a clear view in bright sunlight. To adjust the rear sight for elevation and windage, turn the screws on the top and right side, respectively. The rear sight is very similar to most Hi-Capa rear sights, meaning if you're used to a 'Capa, you'll be right at home running the Navy Pistol XXL.
Moving down to the frame, we can find a 20mm Picatinny frame rail at the front, ready for a tactical flashlight or aiming laser. Following the rail, we come to the trigger guard, an enlarged design with a textured front face designed to help control recoil using the "European" grip technique.
Above the trigger guard on the left side, we can find the disassembly catch. This allows you to remove the slide for maintenance and to access the adjustable HOP-up unit. To remove the slide, first remove the magazine. With the mag removed, rack the slide so the hammer is back. Next, rotate the disassembly catch by 90 degrees counterclockwise until it faces down. With this done, push the slide forward and off the frame.
On the left side of the outer barrel, you'll find the gear-style HOP-up adjustment dial. This allows you to tune the amount of backspin applied to your BBs, seeking the flattest possible trajectory. This is a great feature to have on a high-FPS target pistol, allowing you to reach out further than others, which often lack a HOP-up.
The trigger itself matches the real F-series "double-action/single-action" trigger design perfectly, with a wide, curved front face to encourage proper finger positioning. The double-action/single-action design allows you to carry the Navy Pistol XXL "cocked and locked" with a BB in the chamber and the manual safety activated, benefiting from a shorter and lighter trigger pull in "single action" mode.
The magazine release is on the left side of the grip, a push-button design with a textured surface for optimal wet-weather traction. Surrounding the magazine release, the grip panels are scalloped to allow easy access without risking accidental mag drops, an ideal feature for a competition-optimised build design with fast reloads on the move in mind.
Next up, we reach the grip, made from alloy with polymer grip panels on either side. The front of the frame features machined-in texture, pairing perfectly with the textured wrap-around grips which improve wet weather handling. The rear of the frame features what is known as an "extended beavertail", a slight extension to the rear of the frame intended to encourage consistent hand positioning by filling out the hand, along with preventing "slide bite".
On either side of the rear of the frame, we have a manual safety catch, a feature added to the "X-Five" variant of the real steel pistol in place of the combat version's decocking lever. This allows you to lock the trigger from either side and release it in a split second using your thumb. Like the legendary Hi-Capa platform, the safety levers do double duty as a thumb rest, giving you an extra surface to control muzzle rise and steer the pistol between targets with authority.
On the left side, just in front of the manual safety catch, we have the slide lock/release catch, an enlarged design which is easily accessed from a firing grip. This catch allows you to release the slide when it locks back when your mag runs dry, and also allows for manual locking for chamber inspection by pulling the slide back and pushing upwards on the catch.
Internals
Being manufactured for Swiss Arms by KWC, the Navy Pistol XXL Airline is loosely based on the Tokyo Marui F-series design, with a TM-compatible inner barrel and HOP-up bucking for those who want more potent long-range performance. Otherwise, compatibility is limited to Swiss Arms/KWC Navy Pistol parts, though some TM F226 parts may fit with modification (no guarantees).
In terms of performance, the Navy Pistol XXL hits hard at approximately 390 FPS using 0.20g BBs, making it a tad spicy for skirmishing but ideal for ringing steel on your home range, capable of knocking down targets with impressive effect. Its CO2 power source also gives it insane recoil compared to gas-powered alternatives, with solid cold-weather performance so the fun doesn't have to end when the ground gets hard.

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These tables can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable joule limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used at Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
