These mock SAPI plates provide no ballistic protection but instead, help keep the shape of Airsoft plate carriers and make them appear far more realistic when worn.
Being a Novritsch design, these aren't your usual polymer or foam mock plates; these plates are designed with hexagonal vent ports throughout the design to assist with airflow and reduce overall weight. The front of the plate is constructed from polymer and the rear from soft foam, allowing for comfortable wear even in an unpadded plate carrier.
Plate carriers, in general, may not be the best thing to wear to stay cool, but if you are going to run one in the heat of summer, these plates should help keep the temperature a bit more manageable!

Flecktarn is the German Army's current issued camouflage pattern, a very popular choice for UK skirmishers due to its effectiveness in dark UK woodlands. Flecktarn's roots go all the way back to WW2 though the current version was first issued in 1990, making use of 15% light green, 20% light olive, 35% dark green, 20% brown and 10% black in its pattern.
