An electric powered 6mm Airsoft replica of a lesser-seen firearm, the SIG 522 which was designed by the Swiss as a successor to the Sturmgewehr 57 - the brief for which was to produce a compact carbine with an emphasis on modularity.

This is not an AK, I repeat this is not an AK variant! It may share some silhouette similarities but the VZ.58 is a unique platform that was the standard service rifle for the Slovakian military from 1959 to 1984. Inside, the Saiga-12K boasts an alloy version 3 gearbox rocking 18:1 ratio steel gears running on 8mm slide bearings, with a quick change spring system for easy power tuning. The inner barrel is a 6.05mm example, offering improvements in efficiency and accuracy potential compared to the standard 6.08mm bore.
