GATE Nova CNC Aluminium Trigger For M4/AR15 AEG

There are plenty of great looking custom triggers on the market currently, offering unique looks and a bit of flair for your custom build, but what makes Gate's Nova trigger different? This trigger isn't just a pretty face, it also offers adjustable pre-travel and overtravel, and can be installed in any M4/AR15 with a standard version 2 gearbox and either normal trigger contacts, a Gate TITAN or ASTER installed. This trigger can also be installed in HPA engines with minor modifications (see features section for a link to Gates website and details of the mod).

The wealth of compatibility of this trigger is great news, and it presents a nice alternative for those of us who don't have the latest ASTER V2 in our gats and cannot use the Quantum trigger. The Nova trigger is available in the same styles as the Quantum, but instead of adjusting via the optical sensors inside an ASTER V2, the Nova uses mechanical adjustment via two grub screws, one in the trigger body to adjust pre-travel, and one in the rear extension to adjust over travel.

Being able to adjust the travel distance of the trigger is a very useful feature for the speed inclined as it allows the trigger travel distance to be considerably reduced, and prevents you from wasting movement and time by pulling the trigger back further than it needs to go to fire.

This feature is present in many competition optimised real steel AR15s and is a popular upgrade for those who want the absolute fastest rate of semi-auto fire. If you have a speedy build with a standard non-adjustable trigger this may be the only thing left to do to make it as fast as it can be!

Nova Trigger 2B1

The 2B1 has a gentle curve to it but is very close to a flat trigger in profile. The edges also have stylish weight-reducing cuts machined in to keep the trigger light and give it a custom look. The front face is smooth but has bevelled edges which keeps things comfortable when rapid firing by removing "hot spots" which may cause discomfort over long durations.

Nova Trigger 2C1

2C1 is a curved trigger with a similar curve angle to a standard M4/AR15 "mil-spec" trigger. Where this trigger differs is in its tapered design and serrated rear face. The trigger tapers slightly towards the tip and has bevelled edges, making for a comfortable trigger for those who practice proper trigger discipline and are on and off the trigger constantly. The serrated rear face gives this trigger an aggressive look which is a great way to add a subtle accent to a custom build.

Nova Trigger 2E1

2E1 is for those who just want a trigger that looks like the original but with adjustable functionality. This is the right trigger for a Milsim build and allows you to enjoy the options of an adjustable trigger without ruining the looks of your primary by adding a very un-Milsim competition style trigger. Like all of the Nova triggers, the 2E1 comes in several different anodised colour finishes, so if you prefer a curved trigger but want your build to stand out it still can with the mil-spec style 2E1!
