Functionality-wise, this red dot sight works a little differently than Western counterparts but is effective in its own way. The red dot reticle is a Chevron type with bars running both vertically and horizontally, allowing you to lead moving targets and lob shots out to long range effectively. Brightness adjustment is automatic via the sensor on the front of the sight, meaning if you move through a dark building into the bright outdoors, you don't have to play around with settings; the OKP-7 will do that for you!

Whether you've been inspired by Escape From Tarkov or you're working on a Russian-themed build, the JJ Airsoft OKP-7 Red Dot Sight belongs on your gat. A near-flawless replica of the real steel OKP-7, this sight boasts a robust alloy build with a realistic anti-corrosion finish, giving it a museum-worthy look which will enhance the aesthetic of your AK or 20mm Picatinny-railed primary considerably.
The OKP-7 boasts a massive field of view with minimal obstructions, far wider than most Western red dot designs. The lens is protected by a strong steel ring, ensuring this minimalist optic doesn't die a horrible death if you bash your primary on a wall while breaching. The reticle is a chevron with vertical and horizontal bars on either side, designed to allow the user to lob shots out to long range and effectively lead fast-moving targets, both of which tasks are rather challenging using a standard red dot reticle.
Brightness adjustment is automatic via the light sensor on the front of the optic, meaning you'll never have to faff around adjusting brightness when operating in an environment with varying ambient light. The activation switch is on the top rear of the optic, taking the form of a brass-coloured button which protrudes on the top when the optic is off and on the bottom when it is active.
Windage and elevation adjustments are applied using the brass-coloured dials on the left side and top, respectively. You'll need either a cartridge case or a flat head screwdriver to apply adjustments, though this, coupled with the recessed nature of the dials, means you'll never mess up your zero by being clumsy in-game!
The battery compartment is on the rear left of the optic, accessible by unscrewing the battery cap with a cross-head or flathead screwdriver, or a cartridge case. The OKP-7 requires 2 LR44 button cells (not included) to run, but thanks to its automatic brightness adjustment, you won't be wasting any power!
Available with both 20mm Picatinny or Russian AK side rail mounting hardware, the OKP-7 is good to go on both modern builds and Cold War-era AK-74 and AKM replicas.
