Description

Tokyo Marui are the undisputed champions of producing P90 Airsoft Guns, that's just a fact. However, it has been increasingly difficult to find the available for sale. No worries though, we've done the hard bit for you! Not only is this a Tokyo Marui P90, but it is the Red Dot Edition with the typical integrated housing that we've all come to know and love from shows like Stargate and many, many more.

The external construction is majoratively Polymer. The plastic used is much nicer than the CYMA equivalent, and offers the perfect blend between overall weight, construction quality/strength as well as a pleasant feel to the touch. It's compact design allows it to have a surprisingly long inner barrel (247mm) in a package that only measures 50cm overall. This makes it the perfect CQB tool, allowing you to slip in and out of doorways without ever bringing the muzzle down. Coupled with the fully Ambidextrous Controls that allow you to seamlessly transition to opposite shoulders, and appropriate training, you will be the most effective operator on site.

The unconventional design of the gun leads to a top-loading magazine, which is the real world would rotate the bullets before they enter the chamber. Included with the gun is a 68rnd Magazine which is filled using a Speedloader, and will feed completely until empty. As with all the main controls of the P90, the Magazine Release is ambidextrous and can be easily used from any side of the gun, just like the Fire Selector and the (mock) Charging Handle. The Fire Selector is a rotary disc under the trigger which is to be rotated to the appropriate setting. The Flash Hider can be removed (once the Grub Screw has been taken out) to reveal a 14mm CCW Thread which you can use to install Suppressors, Tracer Units and other Muzzle Devices.

The P90 features a Rotary HOP Unit which is concealed inside the gun, and is accessed by splitting the Receiver in two. With the Magazine removed, press the Release Button underneath and pull apart the two halves of the Receiver. Be careful when reassembling the two halves, as there is some potential to cause damage if you're heavy handed. The gun is rear wired and takes a Battery in the Stock, underneath the Rubber Butt Pad. Press the Release Button on the underside of the Stock and slide the Butt Pad up and off the gun. Underneath you will find a Mini Tamiya connector and a small space which is ideal for an 8.4v NiMH Block or 7.4v LiPo Block Battery.

The Red Dot Sight is easy to use, and is controlled by a switch inside the magwell. It's powered by 2 x AAA Batteries which are installed from the front of the sight, by pressing down the labelled release button.
