A Gas Blowback Airsoft 6mm BB Gun, built and designed on the AR platform, but with a twist, it is based on the .308 Round Chambered AR Variant, making it an absolute beast of a rifle. Description
The rifle is branded by PTS, but constructed by KWA, all coming together to create a super high quality rifle, weighing in at 3.8kg, with a shortened length of 92cm and extended length of 102cm.
The rifle features a KWA SYSTEM7 Style Hop-Up Adjuster and Nozzle design, with a Multi Point Wide Area Friction Split Design Hop-Up Contact Patch Rubber designed to add spin to BBs for Range and Accuracy, and is fully adjustable to support a wide variety of BB Weights.
The magazine for the MATEN is huge, to simulate the .308 magazine, allowing for a huge Gas Well making this GBBR very gas efficient. The MATEN features a wide range of design upgrades to make it last longer and perform better, such as an Anti-Wear full Auto system, a Rubber Backed Buffer Weight to increase the life span of the weapon by preventing the weight slamming into the back of the buffer tube, and a Roller Bearing Hammer to help prevent wear as the Bolt moves over it.
The Firing Pin also folds, and is spring loaded to prevent it from being snapped when a magazine is inserted with the pin forward. A true work of art, the Mega Arms MATEN is highly detailed, and accurate, and does not feature the Forward Assist, much like many modern rifles, and also features full trademarks and stampings, as well as a unique serial number to identify the rifle.
The MATEN features a full length top 20mm RIS / RAS Rail allowing a range of aftermarket Scopes and Sights to be attached, as well as Dot and Magnifier Setups. The handguard features a modern M-LOK System, allowing the attachment of M-LOK Compatible attachments and accessories. This rifle is perfect for those who are looking for a High Performance, top-of-the-range Gas Blowback Rifle, which just works!

Special Instructions
Please note that the feed lips on the magazine are large to accommodate for the larger bolt. Please ensure that when swapping the feed lips on the magazine you get the larger, taller feed lips.
Please note that the MATEN cannot be put into safe without being cocked, just like the real thing. Attempting to force the fire selector into safe when the rifle is not cocked can damage the trigger group.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
