- Full metal build
- CO2 powered - Violent recoil
- Officially licensed by Strike Industries
If you love hard recoil and realistic trademarks, the EMG Strike Industries ARK-17 CO2 GBB Pistol fits the bill! A full metal build with exciting aesthetics, the ARK-17 is based on custom builds using Strike Industries parts, pairing a fantastic licensed replica of the stylish "ARK" slide with the ergonomic "Strike Frame" and spiral fluted "Strike Barrel".
While it's a looker, the ARK-17 pulls ahead of others in the recoil department thanks to its CO2 power source. The slide cycles violently and quickly, with an immense boom which puts other GBB pistols to shame. Another perk of CO2 is that it will keep kicking in cold weather, long after Green Gas pistols have retired for winter.
A real stunner of a build available in tactical black or a striking iridescent silver finish, the ARK-17 boasts a 14mm CCW male threaded barrel for a suppressor or tracer unit, suppressor height iron sights and a 20mm Picatinny frame rail for your tactical flashlight or laser. If you're into the Strike Industries look and need a hard-kicking sidearm with presence, the EMG Strike Industries ARK-17 CO2 GBB Pistol belongs on your belt!

Description
If you're into ultra-modern handgun designs with mission-ready features, the EMG Strike Industries ARK-17 CO2 GBB Pistol should be in your sights. Made with an aluminium alloy slide and outer barrel and high-density polymer frame, the ARK-17 is inspired by real steel Strike Industries upgrade parts for Glock pistols, complete with official licensing from Strike via EMG.
Starting at the front, we can find 14mm CCW male barrel threading, allowing a tracer unit or suppressor to be fitted, with no extra adapters needed. This is a fantastic feature for an out-of-the-box pistol, though we recommend choosing short and light muzzle devices to keep gas efficiency at its peak.
Moving rearwards, we come to the gorgeous Strike Industries ARK slide, an enhanced slide design based on the real steel ARK slide designed for Glock pistols. The ARK boasts front and rear slide serrations cut in Strike's classic space-age design language, along with large ports at the front to reduce weight.
Through the slide ports, we can see the spiral fluted "Strike Barrel" replica, a perfect match for the real deal. Fluting helps save weight and aids cooling in real steel firearms. The barrel pairs perfectly with the in-your-face aesthetics of the ARK-17 overall, with every part and surface bristling with realistic, high-end enhancements.
The chamber/ejection port section of the barrel features laser-engraved Strike Industries trademarks, including a 9x19mm calibre marking and a Strike logo on the top. The slide also features a Strike Industries laser marking on the left and a CNC-machined Strike logo on the right side, just in front of the chamber. The chamber is also fluted/weight reduced, giving it an ultra-modern look which fits in nicely with the build overall.
On top, we are treated to a set of suppressor-height iron sights, allowing the sights to be aligned over most tracer units or suppressors. This adds a hint of Special Forces styling to the ARK-17, giving it a silhouette akin to the legendary H&K MK.23, the original "tactical" offensive handgun. The sights are non-adjustable combat sights, designed to resist the rigours of dynamic use.
Above the trigger, we can see a small catch which is mirrored on either side of the pistol. This is the disassembly catch and can be used to field strip the ARK-17 for maintenance. To remove the slide, simply remove the magazine, cock the slide so the hammer is back, pull down the disassembly catches on either side and push the slide forward to remove it from the frame.
With the slide removed, you can now access the adjustable HOP-up unit, which can be used to apply backspin to your BBs, extending their range. The flathead screw dial on the bottom of the outer barrel can be turned to apply additional HOP-up effect to tune for your preferred BB weight and extend effective range.
Moving down to the frame, we can find a 20mm Picatinny frame rail at the front, ready for a tactical flashlight or aiming laser. We recommend using a WADSN X300 or similar pistol flashlight, as the rear rail slots are obstructed by the trigger-lock safety. The safety can be slid rearward to lock the trigger, allowing you to be extra safe when the ARK-17 is being transported or stored.
Behind the frame rail, we reach the trigger guard, a dynamic, swept-back design with undercuts to encourage a consistent grip. The front face features texture, which can be used to help control muzzle rise with the "European grip" technique. Above the trigger guard on each side, we're equipped with textured trigger-finger index ledges, giving you a safe place for your trigger finger to take a rest between shots.
Within the trigger guard, we find the two-stage Glock-style trigger. This trigger works similarly to the real pistol and cannot be pressed if the separate centre section is not also pressed. This reduces the chances of an accidental discharge and means that unless your finger is on the trigger, the pistol will not fire.
The magazine release is on the left side of the grip, a push-through design with bevelled edges to improve comfort. The grip itself perfectly matches the grip of the real steel Strike Frame, featuring crackle textured panels on either side, and linear serrations on the front and rear for optimal wet weather handling.
Above the magazine release, we can see the slide lock/release catch. This allows you to release the slide after a reload or manually lock the slide open to check the chamber. Being a high-wear part, we're pleased to see that the slide lock is made from robust steel, so it will likely never need replacement.
At the base of the grip, we can see a built-in cutout, designed to allow a dirty or fouled magazine to be manually extracted in emergencies. This is inspired by old-school homemade enhanced Glock frames, wherein the user would extensively modify the grip with hand stippling, trigger guard undercuts and a grip cutout.
Whether you need a sleek, winter-ready sidearm or you're running a Gridlock or SI-90 as a primary, seeking the perfect pistol pairing, the EMG Strike Industries ARK-17 CO2 GBB Pistol has your name on it. With radical looks yet a familiar feel, exciting aesthetics and top-notch build quality, the ARK-17 ticks all the boxes!

Standard EU series or Glock magazines do not fit the ARK-17. You'll need KWC EU-Series/Glock Magazines.

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
