If you have had a gearbox failure and you don't fancy opening it up, the CYMA Complete Version 2 Gearbox w/High Torque Motor & ETU is a pre-upgraded and pre-wired replacement which can be installed with minimal effort and no need to solder or open the gearbox shell. As always, we recommend you have some technical experience before installing a new gearbox, but when it comes to Airsoft upgrades this is about as easy as they get.
This gearbox set is designed for M4/AR-15 AEGs and has the correct nozzle length and selector plate for the task and is also pre-wired to a Deans connector so you can benefit from a lower resistance connector for increased electrical efficiency. Also included with the set is a CYMA high torque Neodymium magnet motor, providing a very snappy trigger response and the power to handle stronger springs than a standard motor.
The icing on the cake is the pre-installed MOSFET/ETU which prevents gearbox lock-up on semi-auto, provides further improvements to the trigger response and a boost to the rate of fire. If your M4 gearbox has issues or you want to freshen up an old M4 with a brand new and pre-upgraded gearbox this set would be a fantastic choice, avoiding the messing around and getting you back to shooting with minimal effort!

Description
If your gearbox has gone kaput and you either don't have the time to fix it or you aren't technically inclined this drop-in replacement from CYMA could be the key to getting your gun working again. The Complete Version 2 Gearbox w/High Torque Motor & ETU comes fully built and pre-wired to a Deans battery connector, so if you aren't the type to get your hands dirty this set is perfect!
The gearbox shell is constructed from alloy and is reinforced at the front to reduce the chance that piston impacts will cause cracks to develop over time. At the rear, the gearbox shell is cut for a quick change spring system to allow for quick and easy power tuning without having to open the gearbox shell. The steel spring guide locks into place via 4 lugs for improved strength and can be removed quickly using a large flathead screwdriver.
Inside the gearbox itself, we are treated with a wide range of pre-installed upgrade parts, ranging from an aluminium silent piston and cylinder head, a polymer piston with a full rack of steel teeth, low friction 8mm steel ball bearing bushings to the pre-installed MOSFET/ETU. The ETU provides improved electrical efficiency, prevents the gearbox from locking up when the trigger is pulled too fast in semi-automatic and gives a boost in rate of fire over standard trigger contacts.
Also included in the set is a CYMA high torque motor which makes use of Neodymium magnets to more effectively pull stronger springs and further improve trigger response and cycle speed. The motor is the "long shaft" type; exactly what you need for an M4/AR-15 AEG. If your M4/AR-15 needs an internal overhaul or a performance boost and you don't fancy doing it the hard way, this drop-in gearbox set from CYMA is as easy as it gets!

Special Instructions
The pre-installed spring in this gearbox will likely produce FPS in excess of UK legal limits. We recommend installing an M90, M100 or M105 spring before using this gearbox in a skirmish.

Upgrades and Downgrades should only be undertaken by experienced players, or Airsoft Technicians. Please note, changing any internal parts of a weapon voids its warranty unless done in-house by our staff.
Please ensure that when fitting parts the part purchased is the correct part, as once a part has been fitted we cannot accept return.

Unique Parts
Please note that some parts may be unique to a specific brand of weapon. For example: Parts for an ASG M4A1 may not fit an ICS M4A1.
Parts from the same brand typically have a high chance of fitting, though be warned, some replicas use unique parts, so please ensure the part will fit before you attempt to fit it.
