With upgrades added and work done, the price has increased, but by a far smaller margin than it would if you took a stock CM.041 to a technician and paid for this amount of work to be done. The Bolster Armouries tech team have turned their attention to the CM.045 AKS-74U High Speed Edition to give it the same internal overhaul as they did the CM.041G & CM.041H, giving it the Gate ASTER treatment along with some other choice upgrades and a full gearbox rebuilt to ensure the stock parts perform at the peak of efficiency.

Like the SMG-5 that came before it, the Patrol Base X Gate ASTER edition of the CM.045 has had a full internal overhaul by the Bolster Armouries tech team. The Prometheus Purple HOP-up bucking a nub replace the original setup to give the CM.045 exceptional range which is very unlike a short-barrelled AEG. The internal engagement surfaces have been polished, as have the piston tracks, and any imperfections in the gearbox shell have been cleaned up to guarantee smooth running and long term performance. Waldo Customs lube replaces the original Chinese lube, and the right amounts have been applied in all the right places. The stock tightbore inner barrel is polished and inspected for flaws, and if it doesn't pass a 60m accuracy test it goes back to the bench for more work.
