Whether you're new to the sport, seeking a starter sidearm with a side of style, or your collection lacks a sporty Hi-Capa but you don't want to build one, the Lancer Tactical Stryk Hi-Capa 3.8 Compact GBB has your name on it! This full metal Hi-Capa 3.8 boasts a CNC aluminium ported slide, a light-enhancing front iron sight, a stippled grip and an optics plate pre-installed, giving it the custom look straight out of the box.
Being a "3.8" Hi-Capa, the Stryk is shorter and lighter than a standard Hi-Capa 5.1, making it ideal for those who need a sidearm which won't slow them down. Its gloss gold on metallic purple aesthetic gives it a style all of its own, and also means you don't need a VCRA Defence or UKARA to purchase it and get busy on the field. If you like the sound of a Hi-Capa which is faster to draw than a 5.1 with the same magazine, HPA adapter and holster compatibility, the Lancer Tactical Stryk Hi-Capa 3.8 Compact GBB is a solid choice!

Description
If you're into custom Hi-Capas but don't know where to start building one yourself, the Lancer Tactical Stryk Hi-Capa 3.8 Compact GBB has done the hard work for you! Ready for a tracer unit straight out of the box with an optics-ready slide and supplied in a fitted hard case, the Stryk Hi-Capa 3.8 is a more compact alternative to the full-sized Hi-Capa 5.1, boasting lower weight and being far faster to draw from a holster.
A full metal build with an exciting race-gun inspired aesthetic, the Stryk boasts a CNC aluminium slide, extended controls and a unique gloss gold on purple aesthetic. If you like a pistol which stands out, or you don't yet have UKARA and want a pistol which isn't painted, the Lancer Tactical Stryk Hi-Capa 3.8 Compact GBB will be an asset!
Starting at the tip of the outer barrel, we can find a thread adapter mounted to the tip of the 3.8-inch outer barrel. A very generous move, especially considering the increasing popularity of using pistols with Tracer units in CQB skirmishes! The outer barrel threading is 11mm CW female, and the thread adapter features 14mm CCW male threads, enabling easy mounting of the most popular Airsoft muzzle devices.
Moving rearwards, we come to the shortened Hi-Capa slide, which features hexagonal ports at the front and hexagonal texture at the rear, providing sporty looks in line with far more expensive custom builds. The ports extend over the top at the front of the slide, reducing weight for an edge in gas efficiency and cyclic speed.
At the top of the slide, we can find a light-enhancing front iron sight, which features a red front insert for easy target acquisition in low-light environments. This front sight is also raised to co-witness with your red dot sight when mounted and provide clearance so you can align the sights over the top of a tracer unit or suppressor. The rear sight mounts to the red dot plate at the rear of the slide, boasting anti-glare serrations so you can still meet the mark in bright sunlight.
The red dot plate at the rear of the slide allows the Lancer Tactical Mini Red Dot Sight(available separately) to be mounted to improve target acquisition speed and add to the ultra-modern looks. We have not yet been able to carry out our usual compatibility tests to confirm whether other red dot sights fit this plate, but we will provide the intel as soon as we know.
Moving down to the frame and pistol grip, we can find the controls of the Stryk Hi-Capa 3.8, extended versions of the well-liked 1911 controls layout, and very well placed for intuitive operation. The ambidextrous manual safety sits right beneath the shooter's thumb for fast access, and the extended slide release can also be reached from a firing grip. The manual safety locks the trigger and hammer, preventing the pistol from firing, but this obviously only works when the safety is on.
The Hi-Capa pistol series features an extra level of safety in the form of the beavertail grip safety, a proven design which dates back to this pistol's Granddaddy, the 1911. This safety prevents the pistol from firing if the grip safety is not depressed, meaning you will never have an accidental discharge from snagging the trigger on gear. The beavertail safety of the Stryk is finished in gorgeous gloss gold, matching well with the slide release, trigger and barrel to complete the custom aesthetic.
At the front of the alloy frame, we can find a 20mm Picatinny pistol rail, ideal for mounting tactical flashlights and lasers, should the mission require it. The magazine release can be found on the left side of the pistol and is a slightly raised design, which is easy to hit, but not so easy that you can accidentally drop your magazine in the heat of a firefight!
Both the hammer and trigger of the Stryk are skeletonised designs, reducing the weight of the pistol to only what is necessary for optimal performance, and tying in with the other high-speed features, like its racy ported slide. The pistol grip of the Hi-capa design is a modular part, separate from the alloy frame, and is made from textured polymer with an imitation hand-stippled texture for excellent gripping qualities.
The stippled grip provides enough friction to prevent an accidental drop, but not so much that you have to wear gloves in order to avoid tearing your hands apart. The texturing wraps around the entire grip and the hammer spring housing, adding to the elite looks of the Stryk and giving it vibes of pistols twice its price!
If you're searching for a stylish 'Capa but you prefer a more compact pistol design, the Lancer Tactical Stryk Hi-Capa 3.8 Compact GBB Pistol is a fantastic option with more than its fair share of perks. Its unique CNC aluminium slide gives off the custom vibe, and its extended controls and stippled frame make it a dream to run!
