Specna Arms SA-E23 EDGE 2.0™ Carbine AEG

The Edge 2.0 series are a new line of replicas from Specna Arms which combine their usual hardy build-quality on the externals with uprated internals, and a Gate MOSFET as standard to squeeze every drop of performance out of these rifles. The MOSFET is a Gate ASTER which serves to protect your circuits and batteries, allows remote or on-board adjustment of the Optical Trigger and allows basic troubleshooting on the board thanks to status indicator LEDs. The Edge 2.0 series also feature the ESA2™ Quick Change Spring System which dramatically reduces the amount of time to change the output power of your rifle, by allowing you to change the main spring via the Buffer Tube. This is a great feature for those who want something that can do it all.

Out of the box you will notice the exceptional craftsmanship that has gone into the externals, with Aluminium and Steel being used for the majority of the construction, to make it as tough as possible. Where Polymer has been used (Handguard, Pistol Grip and Stock), it is a High Density Polymer that feels great in the hand, and most importantly, can withstand some abuse. The body of the Gun has a Nanocoating Finish that prevents scratches and protects the finish. A Unique Serial Number helps identify your Replica, and is further authenticated by a hologram sticker to ensure authenticity.

Externally, the Rifle is a replica of the AR Platform, featuring a sleek and ergonomic M-LOK Handguard, as well as a Six Position Sliding Crane Stock. The Outer Barrel Assembly has a 14mm CCW Thread which can be used to attach Suppressors, Tracer Units and other Muzzle Devices, and is accessed by simply unscrewing the Flash Hider from the Barrel. The Receiver has a 20mm Rail for installing Optics and Sights, but comes out of the box with a set of Flip Up Ironsights installed.

The Pistol Grip features a QD Access Door that allows you easy and quick access to adjust the Motor should you ever need to. This is much better than having to use a screwdriver and potentially damaging/losing screws. An Ambidextrous Sling Plate sits on the Buffer Tube and lets you connect a Sling from either side of the Gun, which is great news for Left Handed Players. The Six Position Sliding Stock is where your Battery should be housed, and has a Deans Connector inside. A Deans to Mini Tamiya Converter Lead is supplied in the box, so you can continue to use any existing Batteries you may have, but we would recommend using the more efficient Deans connection. The Stock also features a QD Sling Socket for the connection of Quick Release Sling Loops.

Internally, this Gun has a huge range of features that make it a prime choice over other models in its' price range. The first of many uprated components is a 6.03mm Precision Inner Barrel, and a Rotary HOP Unit for fine control over your BB's backspin, allowing for an increase in range and consistency (when using the right BBs and settings). The HOP Unit has a Helium™ Flat HOP Bucking which interacts very evenly with the BB, and makes for excellent and stable lift. As with any premium Specna Model, you have the ORION Gearbox inside, with the updated ESA2™ Quick Change Spring System that allows for rapid Main Spring changes from the Buffer Tube, without having to remove or disassemble the Gearbox. The ORION Gearbox also features, a lightweight Polymer Piston with a Full Steel Rack, double-sealed Piston Head with Bearings, Air-Sealed Nozzle, Double Sealed Cylinder Head, Spring Guide on Bearings, a set of Steel Gears and 8mm Bearings. This is an impressive list, but it doesn't end there...

The main party trick of the Specna Arms SA-E23 Edge 2.0 is the GATE ASTER™ MOSFET, which is a massive step above the GATE X-ASR Module that was included with the previous models. The ASTER™ provides amazing features such as 'Polarity Inversion Protection', which prevents damage from mis-use of Batteries. An Optical Sensor makes for an incredible Trigger Pull (the smallest twitch will fire the Gun, which is great for long-term endurance). The Trigger can also be set to one of 250 sensitivity settings!  This Trigger is paired with the Solar™ Electronic Trigger which has a very pleasant travel and pull, and will take your skirmish-performance to another level. The ASTER™ interacts with the GATE Control Station Application, allowing you to modify your Gun from the comfort of a device or computer, and a handy RGD LED Diode system makes for simply programming. If you want to perform advanced programming, you'll need the GATE USB-Link for full control over the ASTER™ MOSFET.

Included in the box are 2 x 125rnd Mid-Cap Magazines, which are made from a tough Polymer and feature a tessellated 'SA' pattern. These Magazines feed absolutely great, and put you well on your way to a full loadout. If you're looking to achieve absolute top-tier features and quality for a mid-tier price, then all marketing speak aside, you absolutely NEED one of these right now.
