Description

The TT-33 (otherwise known as the Tokarev) designed by Fedor Tokarev in the early 30s, is a semi-automatic Pistol which was made for the 7.62x25mm cartridge, a round designed to defeat low-tier body armour.

The SRC SR-33 is a convincing replica of this platform which is almost exclusively Alloy constructed, with the exception of the Pistol Grips which are Polymer like the real thing. It comes to a realistic weight of 610g which feels great in the hands, and the realistic Gas Blowback action provides a sturdy kick when fired. The externals have realistic markings stamped at the rear of the frame, which are very close to the real thing. The underside of the mag and frame have lanyard loops which are very useful for keeping a tight leash on your sidearm.

The gun is powered by a Gas Magazine of a single stack design, which holds a total of 11rnds and is filled with gas from the bottom via the Inlet Valve. Be careful not to overfill the magazine with BBs as this can cause the slide to stick when you try to cycle the slide for the first time. If this happens, take one BB out of the magazine and try again. They also require lubrication out of the box to ensure proper performance. To remove the slide, pull back on the retaining pin on the offside of the frame, remove the slide release and pull the slide forward and off the frame. With the slide removed, you can remove the barrel assembly where you will find a Grub Screw HOP adjustment on top of the HOP Unit.

The Pistol comes supplied inside a Polymer Hard Case which has "egg box" padding on the inside for protection, as well as an 11rnd Gas Magazine and detailed instruction manual. Also included is an Allen Key for adjusting the HOP Unit.

Please note that this replica is more suited to a display/wallhanger piece than a skirmishing item, due to the skinny single stack magazine holding limited amounts of gas. We do not recommend trying to use this sidearm as an effective Airsoft skirmishing gun. Plenty of lubrication is required out of the box to achieve optimal performance.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
