  • Polymer construction
  • Springer revolver - Fun to cock!
  • 7.5" outer barrel - 7cm inner barrel

This revolver is iconic! The Single Action Army, also known as the Colt Peacemaker, is a revolver that has been in production since 1873. That's over 150 years that this revolver has been in production for, and it is just as loved now as it was those many moons ago when it was the U.S Army's standard issue pistol.

The Tokyo Marui Airsoft version has a full polymer body with a metal trigger. This makes it lightweight and is perfect considering it is a springer revolver, meaning you need to cock the hammer with your thumb each time you want to shoot. It comes with shells that hold a BB each and can be loaded into the revolver's 6 chambers.

This is by no means an Airsoft pistol that will carry your next Airsoft game, but it looks incredible, is crafted by Tokyo Marui, and has that satisfying revolver feel with individual shells. It's an absolute treat!

Description

"God created man, Samuel Colt made them equal."

This pistol has gone by many names: the Single Action Army, Colt .45, the Frontiersman, the Peacemaker or the SAA-45. First manufactured during the Wild West era of America, it was wielded by ranchers, lawmen and outlaws. Big or small, it did not matter to the Colt Peacemaker; men were made equal with the power of a pistol.

The Tokyo Marui "Colt Peacemaker" SAA-45 7.5" Revolver is made for Airsofters who love their firearm history. You can't get much more iconic than a good old American Western Revolver. Since 1873, this revolver has been beloved for its iconic style. The 7.5" barrel variant, dubbed the cavalry, was seen in a movie called "The Great Train Robbery", a 1903 short film that is widely regarded as the movie that began the motion picture industry!

For reenactors, this Airsoft revolver is a must. Cowboys and the military have used this pistol, so you are spoilt for choice when it comes to matching this pistol with a loadout. Even if you're not into reenactment, there is nothing quite as satisfying as loading and firing a revolver, making this an excellent choice if you want to plink some cans in your garden!

In terms of Airsoft skirmishing, the Tokyo Marui "Colt Peacemaker" SAA-45 7.5" Revolver would certainly make an interesting challenge. As it is a springer pistol, it shoots at a low FPS, but thanks to Tokyo Marui's expert manufacturing process and adjustable HOP-up, this pistol can shoot further than you would think, with good accuracy!

Starting at the front of this 7.5-inch polymer barrel, there is a front sight at the top, which pairs with the rear notch sights. This is exactly like the real Colt pistol and matches perfectly. If you fancy attempting to skirmish with this pistol, these will help you aim better; they aren't adjustable at all, just get good!

Moving rearwards, in front of the chamber, you will find the adjustable HOP-up unit. Using the included tool on this gear style adjuster, you can fine-tune the amount of HOP applied to your BBs, so it can shoot as straight as possible. Although this Airsoft revolver probably can't HOP BBs over 0.2g, it is still an absolute treat for plinking targets in the garden!

Behind the HOP-unit, we come to the Colt Peacemaker's cylinder. This is where you load the mock revolver shells. To access it, there is a part of the chassis behind the cylinder that flips to the side. To load your shells, you need to half-cock the hammer; this allows you to spin the cylinder freely to load all 6 shells. Once finished, you can then fully cock the hammer, and the revolver is ready to shoot.

Talking more about the hammer, it has a curved hammer which is easy to cock thanks to its textured surface. Cocking the hammer will prime the trigger ready for shooting. When the Colt revolver is not cocked, the trigger is not primed and cannot be pulled. The hammer is constructed from polymer and the trigger from alloy, meaning it's easy to cock and feels good when pulling the trigger.

The grip of the Tokyo Marui "Colt Peacemaker" SAA-45 7.5" Revolver is also constructed from polymer, cleverly disguised as faux wood. This grip looks incredible, and the faux wood looks real! It pairs well with the gold trimmings found around the grip and trigger; they are also constructed from polymer.

If you're a firearms history fanatic or appreciate the sidearm from the Wild West cowboy era, the Tokyo Marui "Colt Peacemaker" SAA-45 7.5" Revolver is a great choice for you! Although it is constructed from polymer and difficult to actually skirmish with, this pistol is nonetheless excellent and would make for an excellent display or reenactment piece!
