Vector Optics Nautilus 1X30 Red Dot Sight

If you prefer a larger optic but still want modern styling, the Vector Optics Nautilus 1X30 Red Dot Sight belongs on your build! Effectively an enlarged version of the Vector Optics Maverick, the Nautilus offers a wider field of view than the Maverick, a convenient AAA power source and a beefier, more aggressive form factor. 

The Nautilus boasts a QD 20mm Picatinny rail mount, making it ready to rock on any 20mm Picatinny-railed platform and super fast to mount and remove, without the need to have tools handy. Windage and elevation adjustment is also tool-less, adjusting in 1MOA increments via the dials on the right side and top, respectively. Each adjustment provides an audible and tactile click, ensuring your adjustments are accurate while being very satisfying to use!

The battery compartment is located on the top right of the optic body, similarly placed to the real steel Aimpoint Comp M5. Unscrewing the cap on the real provides access for the single AAA cell (not included) required to power the Nautilus. Being powered by an AAA cell makes this bad boy far cheaper and more convenient to run, with replacement batteries available at practically every shop in the country. 

The activation switches are on the left side, with the on/off button at the front and the brightness/intensity adjustment buttons just behind. To turn the sight on, press the on/off button, and to turn it off, hold the same button down for 3 seconds. The intensity adjustment buttons allow you to scroll through the 11 brightness settings and adjust for a clear view in your current ambient lighting conditions. 

A second short press on the on/off switch while the Nautilus is turned on will activate "auto brightness adjustment", which activates the light sensor on top and adjusts the dot intensity automatically. This is fantastic when used at sites with a mix of indoor and outdoor gameplay, meaning you don't have to mess around with your red dot settings when moving through a dark building into the bright outdoors!
