The Vector Optics Victoptics FRE 1x18 RDS V2 is an affordable red dot sight with many useful features, such as adjustable brightness, windage and elevation, an integrated Picatinny rail mount and a polymer cover to keep your sight safe during transportation.
The sight is constructed from aluminium with an alloy mount. The included Picatinny mount features a steel knurled thumb screw for easy and secure fitting on your Airsoft replica. It takes a single CR2032 battery, which is sadly not included but can be purchased separately, such as this VAPEX CR 2032 3V Lithium Button Battery.

Description
The Vector Optics Victoptics FRE 1x18 RDS V2 is constructed from aluminium alloy, meaning it is lightweight and extremely durable. It mounts to 20mm Picatinny rails using the steel thumb screw bolt.
The elevation and windage are both adjustable on this sight. The screw at the top rear of the sight controls the elevation, whilst the windage adjustment screw can be found on the rear left of the sight body. Also included with the sight is a polymer disk allowing fine adjustments to be made when zeroing.
The glass lens of this red dot sight is wide and multi-coated in red, allowing users to get a better view of the battlefield around them and reduce light glare, even when aiming down the sights. This helps with transitioning between targets, enhancing target efficiency and precision aiming. The red dot is crisp, clear and concise, allowing you to line up your shots easily, without any blurriness.
The on/off switch can be found at the front of the sight, and can also be used to scroll through the 4 brightness settings. A polymer sight protector is also included in the package, and this simply snaps on over the top of the sight, protecting the lens and preventing the on/off switch from getting bumped in your kit bag, a thoughtful inclusion from Vector which will save you money on batteries!
The battery compartment can be accessed by unscrewing the two Allen screws on the top of the sight, allowing the sight to be removed from its mount and the CR2032 battery (not included) to be installed. This sight would work well as a secondary sight on an angled mount, allowing immediate switching between your primary optic and backup optic, or as a primary optic for smaller platforms.
