A recent magazine design that is optimized for the 416 style receiver, the NUPROL LS-Mag EXT Hi-Cap Magazine 450rnd is fully compatible with SCAR-L and M4/AR15 AEG replicas. The magazine holds 450 rounds and is filled via the top fill window. The magazine is constructed from high-density polymer with a steel feed spring, keeping the weight low but providing decent drop and scratch resistance.
The magazine design features strengthening ribs across its surfaces which also double as an area to grip when shooting your AEG in an unconventional stance. On the right side of the magazine body we can find markings indicating "30" next to a bullet symbol, and "Cal. 5.56x45" indicating the calibre of cartridge this style of magazine holds in the real firearm equivalent.
If you need more capacity, but don't want the rattle from carrying high capacity mags, this is what you'll need. With a respectable 200 round capacity, this magazine holds more than comparable mid-caps without being significantly larger than a standard M4/AR15 magazine, allowing it to fit into standard M4/AR15 mag pouches easily.
