WADSN DBAL Mini Style Tactical Flashlight w/QD Mount

The WADSN DBAL Mini Style Tactical Flashlight is ideal for those who want to add a DBAL for the gucci look but either aren't a fan of lasers or lasers are banned at their local site. This is the aluminium version and comes with a QD 20mm Picatinny rail mount built in so you can swap the device between different primaries easily and without needing tools.

The DBAL offers several modes for its CREE-XPG-R5 LED, with constant on low power for navigation and high power modes for constant on, momentary on and stroboscopic mode aka flash mode. Mode selection is carried out via the rotary dial on the rear of the unit and when the light is on the indicator light to the right of the dial will light up so you can avoid leaving the light on and draining the battery.

The front aperture has a rubber cover built in to protect the lens from damage when stored and the battery compartment is also on the front, with a rubber retainer keeping the battery cap attached to the unit so it doesn't go walkies in the woods. The unit requires a single CR123a cell (not included) which is inserted through the front, with the direction of insertion indicated on the top of the housing with a laser-engraved diagram.

The activation button is located on the top left of the unit, taking the form of a rubber push button with a laser engraved "FIRE->" marking. The device is also packaged with a pressure switch for 2.5mm jacks and a short strip of 3M self-adhesive velcro so you can mount it where you need it. The use of a 2.5mm jack also means you have plenty of options when it comes to aftermarket dual pressure switches, hot buttons and multi-mode pressure switches.

The light aperture also has adjustment dials on the top and the right side, meaning you can adjust the angle of the flashlight to reduce suppressor shadow and even use the light as an improvised aiming device when engaging the enemy at kissing distance. Realistic warning stickers are also included in the box, giving this DBAL a realistic look with 4 different sticker colour schemes to choose from.
