If you need some summer headwear for Airsoft, a boonie hat would be a great choice. The EmersonGear Ripstop Boonie Hat is constructed from cotton and ripstop polyester in a 50/50 mix which should give it a longer life thanks to the robust ripstop design. The hat is fully adjustable for head size via the toggle on the rear, meaning it will fit most adult head sizes (up to 62cm diameter).
As a part of the classic boonie design, the EmersionGear hat has foliage loops, also known as "branch loops" sewn in around the brim of the hat. This allows you to attach natural foliage similarly to a concealment vest and disguise your head for woodland skirmishes. Just above the branch loops, there are ventilation ports to allow for more airflow under the hat and prevent overheating in high temperatures. There is also a small Velcro patch on the top for an ID or morale patch, but if you are really milsim you can mount a HELSTAR 6 or other ID marker light. Keep your head fresh during summer skirmishes while also keeping the tactical look!
