The gun is constructed from high quality materials, with a mix of alloy, steel and polymers. The replica features a full metal receiver, buffer tube, hand guard, outer barrel and flash hider, with a polymer stock and pistol grip. Every bit of the rifle is high quality, with a high level of attention to detail. The gun features a solid, wobble free build, and is highly realistic.

The replica features everything you would expect from a standard AEG, but comes packed with much much more under the hood.

Based on the 416 the replica features a four point 20mm RIS / RAS railed hand guard, allowing for a variety of aftermarket grips, bi pods, launchers, lasers and more to be fitted. 20mm is the most common rail in Airsoft, meaning you'll have access to a wide variety of parts to truly make the replica your own. To get you started a forward vertical fore grip is included in the box. 

The top of the replica also features a full length 20mm RIS RAS rail. The top rail of the receiver lines up perfectly with the top rail of the hand guard, allowing large sight and scope setups to be used. If you fancy a scope for longer range shots, there is enough space for even the biggest of sights. If you want to try out a more advanced holographic and flip to sight magnifier there is space for that too. If you require access to the full length of the top rail the included iron sights can easily be removed using a single screw on each sight.

The replica features an adjustable hop-up unit, and thanks to its radial design allows for fine tuning and precision adjustments for the perfect shot. The hop-up unit works by pushing a small patch of rubber in the path of the BB which adds backspin to the BB to improve the range and accuracy of every shot. The hop-up is fully adjustable to allow a range of weights of BBs to be used. The hop-up unit can be accessed by pulling the mock charging handle to the rear, which pulls back the mock bolt plate to allow you to make adjustments.

To the rear of the replica you can find the 416 style stock which doubles up as the battery compartment. Simply twist the butt pad to the left to reveal the ample battery space perfect for medium two and three cell LiPo battery battery. The stock is easy to adjust, with a large push mechanism which locks the stock into place. The rubberised butt plate is also texture to prevent the gun from slipping against your rig or in wet weather. The rear of the weapon also features an ambidextrous single point sling plate, allowing you to attach a sling on the left or right side depending on your dominant side.

For further levels of customisation you can also remove the front flash hider to reveal a 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel, the most common on the market, allowing you to attach a wide variety of aftermarket suppressors and tracer units to really make the replica your own.

Internally is where the replica really starts to shine. The gun comes packed with a wide variety of features which would cost hundreds of points to fit aftermarket right out of the box. Not only does the replica feature a re-inforced gearbox with many upgrade parts, it also features a highly advanced MOSFET system, a computerised system designed to enhance and improve the performance of the replica.

The GATE ASTER is not just any MOSTFET designed to protect your trigger contacts, the ASTER is a direct replacement for the trigger mechanism and features a smart chip and many optical sensors designed to not only improve the performance of the replica, but also report and track logs of the performance of your gun. The ASTER has many features which can be programmed either via the trigger, or ideally through a PC, allowing for a wide range of stats and settings to be adjusted. Using the trigger you can program the more basic features of the MOSFET, allowing you to configure the Fire Modes, Burst Modes, Battery Protection, Active Braking, and reset factory settings, but when the unit is plugged into a PC it really shines, allowing for advanced diagnostics and more advanced features to be unlocked. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the trigger, with up to 250 different available activation levels thanks to the units highly advanced optical monitoring system.

Not only does the gun feature a top of the line MOSFET, the gearbox has also been upgraded. Internally the piston has been upgraded with a full set of steel teeth to protect against stripping during long term use, and has been paired with a high quality set of steel gears for maximum performance. The air seal of the system has also been upgraded, with a double air sealed cylinder head and piston head, as well as an air sealed nozzle. To keep everything running smoothly the gearbox features a ball bearing spring guide to allow the spring to rotate freely, with the gears sitting atop high quality 8mm ball bearings. The motor of the replica is also upgrade, with a high torque motor which is equipped with powerful neodymium magnets. If you want to adjust the power of the replica then it can be done without having to open the gearbox thanks to SPECNA's ESA2 Quick spring change system: simply remove the stock and unscrew the spring guide. The spring then comes out the rear of the gearbox and the new one can quickly be swapped out. The barrel of the replica has even been upgraded with a 6.01 tightbore barrel for great range and accuracy.

This gun is probably one of the last guns you'll ever need to buy. Every upgrade you'll ever have to think about is already fitted, and there are hundreds of possible configurations available. This gun is perfect for any Airsoft skirmisher who want to have the best possible gun out the box, with no worries about the internals of the replica you can concentrate on the externals of the replica and your load out.

Special Instructions

Some more advanced functions of the ASTER system are available in the GATEControl Station (GCS), and require the GATE USB Link to be used on PC. 

The GATE ASTER firmware can be upgraded with more feature via the GATE Control Station for an additional fee, and is done through GATE via the app.

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
