Description

The Army Armament R31 1911 Pistol is very realistic in that it is almost entirely made of Alloy, with the exception of the Pistol Grip Covers, which are Polymer. The use of Alloy on the externals makes for a very realistically weighted Pistol, which has a great response when the slide is cycled and makes a good 'clack' sound.

The Pistol features an adjustable HOP Unit which can be found by removing the Slide from the Frame. Simply remove the Slide Release (by lining up the appropriate cut-outs on the slide and pushing it out from the Frame) and take the Slide off the Frame. This HOP Up will apply backspin to your BBs and help them to stay in the air for longer. This is particularly effective when paired with a heavyweight BB such as a 0.25g or heavier.

The R31 also has a Beavertail Safety, which won't let the Pistol fire unless it is being held properly, as well as a Slide Lock Safety which can be engaged to stop the Slide from moving. There is also a Lower Lanyard Loop, which allows you to secure your Pistol inside a Holster, should it ever drop out whilst you are playing.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
