The Laylax Outer Barrel Base & Battery Block Set for SigAir MPX includes a super short outer barrel base and the Laylax Battery Block, allowing you to install a barrel extension or a suppressor which runs beneath the handguard for the integrally suppressed look. 

This part replaces your original outer barrel with an aluminium barrel base measuring 8.5cm overall length, with 4.5cm protruding ahead of the receiver when installed. Also included is the Laylax battery block, designed to keep your battery contained within the handguard when your barrel is pointed down. The battery block won't fit over a suppressor but if you decide to fit a barrel extension it should fit any with a diameter of less than 19mm.

If you want to shorten your MCX down a bit or you are going for a slick integrally suppressed look for your next build this outer barrel from Laylax is just what you need. This barrel is 6.5 inches (17cm) in overall length and is constructed from aluminium for a perfect balance between low weight and strength.

At the tip of the barrel, we are treated to 14mm CCW male threading, allowing you to equip your MCX with a suppressor for sneaky duties. The tip of the barrel is wide enough to allow an inner barrel to pass straight through, meaning no need to mod it if you want to keep the original MCX inner barrel length. If installed on a standard MCX the barrel will be entirely beneath the handguard, allowing you to mount a tracer unit or suppressor without increasing the overall length of your setup and give your rifle the "Honey Badger" look. If you are adding a tracer make sure you get a shorter inner barrel as well!
