CYMA PDW Stock for M4/AR-15 AEG

If you are putting together a CQB-optimised M4/AR-15 build a PDW stock can be one of the best ways to trim down the overall length without sacrificing barrel length. The CYMA PDW Stock for M4/AR-15 AEG is designed to fit the stock mounting interface found beneath the buffer tube on most M4/AR-15 AEG rifles, though some will need this part trimming down to fit.

The stock is constructed from a mix of steel, alloy and polymer, with the butt plate being polymer, the stock bars and adjustment/locking lever being steel and the buffer tube being alloy. This keeps the important parts strong and well up to a lifespan of hard use as well as providing a realistic weight and feel for whatever M4/AR-15 AEG it is mounted to.

The stock adjustment/locking lever is located on the bottom of the buffer tube and pushing it towards the centre will release the stock, allowing it to be pulled out into one of six positions of adjustment. There is also a secondary lever on the left side, which when pressed together with the right side allows the butt plate and stock bars to be removed entirely for easier access to the battery compartment.

As far as battery space is concerned, there is very little room inside so if you run a rear-wired M4/AR-15 AEG we recommend using the CYMA Battery Extension Tube for PDW stock so you can fit a standard M4/AR-15 buffer tube type stick battery and not need to worry about sourcing a tiny battery and delicately installing it each time. The rear cap of the buffer tube can be unscrewed to allow a battery to be installed or to add the battery extension tube.

Special Instructions

This stock will directly mount to the CM.097 series of AEGs but may require that the stock mounting interface is trimmed down for installation onto certain M4/AR-15 platforms.

The battery compartment inside the CYMA PDW stock is very, very small and may just about fit PDW-type stick batteries (600mAh maximum). We recommend using this stock for front-wired AEGs or those with a battery sling setup, or using the CYMA Battery Extension Tube so you can use standard M4/AR-15 stick batteries.
