This Airsoft Electric Gun is a highly realistic replica of the AK74 platform, which is an AK family Assault Rifle designed to chamber the 5.45x39mm round, a bullet created in response to the West widely adopting the 5.56x45mm cartridge. This is the original layout of the AK74 model with Real Wood furniture on the handguard and stock, as well as realistic manufacturing in the form of a Stamped Steel receiver for a genuine finish.

The handguard and stock are made from Real Wood, and have been stained to get an accurate colour and to make it feel incredibly realistic and comfortable in the hands. The receiver has been made to a highly realistic standard via Stamped Steel, in the same way that the real thing is built. This also means that you get the amazing oily smell out of the box, which is residue from the stamping process, and a nice reminder that your AK replica has been built to the highest standard. Internally the rifle features a 9mm bearing Version 3 gearbox, coupled with a CNC Aluminium Piston Head and Cylinder Head, as well as a 22,000RPM motor and 18AWG wiring.

The replica accepts either a 9.6v NiMH or 7.4v LiPo battery in the fixed stock at the rear, giving you plenty of battery space. It is accessed by removing the rear butt pad with the help of a screwdriver. The ironsights at the front are quickly adjustable for range, which could actually be useful in an Airsoft skirmish. There is a front and rear sling loop for the addition of either a traditional AK sling or any kind of standard sling that you want to use. The fire controls will be familiar to anyone who has used an AK platform replica before, and the ambidextrous magazine release will be a welcome addition to any left handed players who want to use this platform. The HOP is adjusted via a slider, which is easily accessed by pulling back on the charging handle. The side of the receiver features the typical AK Dovetail side mount which will accept specific AK platform optics like the PSO series, or side rail mounts to give you a 20mm rail above the dust cover.

Included in the box is a Polymer mid-cap replica of the Bakelite 5.45x39mm magazine with a 130rnd capacity, which is loaded via a speedloader from the top of the magazine.
