  • CO2 Powered
  • Traditional 1911 Style
  • Good in Cold Weather

This CO2 Powered Airsoft Blowback Pistol is a replica of the infamous 1911 design, in traditional layout without any exuberant furniture, compensators or graphics, just good old fashioned, old school cool. As the Pistol is powered by a CO2 Bulb in the Magazine, it is excellent in cold weather and will always finish a whole Magazine on a fresh bulb.

Description

The Army Armament R31 CO2 Pistol is very realistic in that it is almost entirely made of Alloy, with the exception of the Pistol Grip Covers, which are Polymer. The use of Alloy on the externals makes for a very realistically weighted Pistol, which has a great response when the slide is cycled and makes a good 'clack' sound. The use of CO2 in the Magazines means that it is excellent when the cold weather sets in, as CO2 is less likely to 'Gas Out' over traditional Green Gas. Not only this, but the powerful CO2 gas means the slide cycles in no time, allowing you to get rapid shots out.

The Pistol features an adjustable HOP Unit which can be found by removing the Slide from the Frame. Simply remove the Slide Release (by lining up the appropriate cut-outs on the slide and pushing it out from the Frame) and take the Slide off the Frame. This HOP Up will apply backspin to your BBs and help them to stay in the air for longer. This is particularly effective when paired with a heavyweight BB such as a 0.25g or heavier. The Gun also has a Beavertail Safety, which won't let the Pistol fire unless it is being held properly, as well as a Slide Lock Safety which can be engaged to stop the Slide from moving. There is also a Lower Lanyard Loop, which allows you to secure your Pistol inside a Holster, should it ever drop out whilst you are playing.

The Magazine is loaded by hand loading or using a Speedloader to force BBs in to the Magazine from the top Feed Lips, or at the bottom when the Follower is fully pulled down. A 12g CO2 Sparklet is installed into the Magazine by using the included tool to unscrew the thread and sliding the CO2 bulb in from the side. Secure the screw at the bottom of the Magazine until the hissing from the Bulb stops. Remember to remove any CO2 from the Pistol when you are done using it, being careful to FIRE IT ALL OUT THE GUN rather than releasing the Bulb while it still has pressure inside.

If you're looking for a traditional 1911 Pistol that can actually perform once the cold weather sets in, then the Army Armament R31 CO2 will be of great interest to you.
