NiMH batteries are the most likely battery you will come across as a beginner in Airsoft - they're robust, do the job and withstand a lot more abuse than their fragile LiPo counterparts. Being in a stick form, this style of battery is very easy to install given that your battery compartment is long and thin - making it ideal for weapons that require a long battery underneath the dust cover (such as the AK family).
