Dump pouches are designed to provide a place to ditch items such as empty magazines, BB bottles, gas bottles and other kit when you need to free up your hands quickly and avoid fiddling with tightly fitting pouches. This dump pouch can be mounted to a standard duty belt or MOLLE via the hook and loop webbing on the rear and can be configured to be fully open, half open but secured with a velcro flap or fully closed via the drawstring surrounding the opening. Description
If you want to keep your hands busy racking up kills and not faffing around stuffing spent mags back into pouches, you need a dump pouch on your rig! The 8Fields Tactical Collapsible MOLLE Dump Pouch; 500D Cordura Version is designed to mount to MOLLE rigs or a standard duty belt, providing a place to quickly ditch your spent magazines or other kit when you need your hands free ASAP.
The dump pouch has a velcro flap at the top which allows it to be used half closed, keeping the contents secure while still allowing you to drop a magazine inside. You can also run the pouch fully open by securing the velcro flap to the female velcro on the inside, giving you more room to drop your mags in with the small sacrifice that the contents are exposed. Surrounding the opening of the pouch there is also a drawstring which allows you to close the pouch completely when it is full and prevent the contents from flying out during an energetic advance.
When not in use, the dump pouch can be folded up and secured using the velcro strap, minimising its footprint and keeping it out of the way until needed. The velcro flap also has a glove-friendly extension to make it easy to rip open when you need it, and the bottom of the pouch includes a water drainage grommet so any water that makes its way inside during wet weather will drain straight out.
Being part of the 8Fields Premium range, this version of the Collapsible MOLLE Dump Pouch is constructed from 500 denier Cordura fabric, making it a step up in quality when compared to the standard version. Cordura is the military standard fabric and is used in a wide range of real steel combat gear as well as civilian applications which require high strength. The benefit of this dump pouch over the 1000D Polyester version is that it has reduced stitch density which results in reduced weight, but still maintains strength and water resistance thanks to its use of Cordura branded fabric.
If you are fed up with fumbling when your mag runs dry, a dump pouch is the key to faster, fumble-free reloads.
