Description

This stunning and well-constructed Airsoft Electric Gun is a replica of the SVD, a 7.62x54mm chambered Semi-Automatic DMR from Russia. It is constructed from a mix of Aluminium, Polymer and Steel, and features some tasty internal parts which results in spot-on performance around the 340FPS mark.

The Outer Barrel Assembly is made from Aluminium to a tough standard, to give the core of this rifle vital strength and rigidity - as it is massively long! The end of this barrel assembly features an AR type Bird Cage Flash Hider which has a 14mm CCW Thread underneath. Remove the Flash Hider by taking out the Grub Screw and unscrewing it from the thread to install your own Suppressors, Tracer Units and Muzzle Devices. The Handguard is also Aluminium and is an M-LOK design which looks great and saves on weight over a traditional Rail System. It will accept M-LOK compatible accessories or 20mm RIS Adapters to send you on your way to customising your dream SVD platform rifle. The top of the Handguard has a full length top 20mm rail which runs the full length of the rifle to the back of the Receiver, allowing plenty of space for your Optics, Sights and more. Behind the Charging Handle / Mock Bolt you will find a Rotary HOP Adjustment which can be used in conjunction with heavier BBs (0.25g+) and correct tuning to achieve further and more stable BB flight. The Receiver features a typical SVD Fire Selector which is pulled down to engage the Semi Auto fire function, and has an ambidextrous Mag Release which can be accessed comfortably from both sides of the replica. The rear of the Rifle features a six-position Sliding Crane Stock which is also where the Battery is stored. The Stock can be set to multiple positions to suit any user, and simply needs the Butt Pad removing by squeezing the tabs at the rear to access the Mini Tamiya inside. We recommend the use of the 7.4v Crane Stock LiPo for this stock.

Internally this rifle features a specially designed Gearbox with a CNC Machined set of Steel Gears to ensure long life performance. The Piston is a reinforced design with two Steel Teeth and a reinforced Piston Head. 7mm Steel Bearings and a Spring Guide with Bearings are par for the course, as well as a High-Torque Motor to help this beast turn over with a fast response.

Included in the box is a 300rnd SVD style Steel High Cap Magazine which is filled by pouring BBs into the top Fill Window, and wound via the Clockwork Wheel on the bottom to feed BBs into the gun. Also included is an 8.4v 1200mAh NiMH Crane Stock Battery and EU Pin Charger, which will function fine but will be inferior to an aftermarket set and should ideally be replaced.

Special Instructions

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
