Description
The CM.097F Platinum Edition is a very robust and incredibly well thought-out Airsoft Electric Gun replica which has a long list of parts and features which would be on any Airsofter's wishlist for the perfect Airsoft Gun. The externals are almost exclusively made from Aluminium, which helps make it tough and feel good in the hands. Even the fire controls and trim parts of the rifle are made from Aluminium; no cheap Alloy here! The Polymer parts are the Pistol Grip and Stock as you would expect, which feel high-density and a long way away from the usual cheap Polymer you would see on a CYMA gun.
The end of the gun has an AAC-style QD Flash Hider at the end of the Handguard, which is an 8" M-LOK design allowing for Rail Adaptors or M-LOK compatible accessories. The Flash Hider can be removed to reveal a 14mm CCW thread underneath for installing Suppressors, Tracer Units and such; however the AAC-style Flash Hider will accept some Quick-Detach Suppressor designs.
The tough Aluminium Receiver has all the typical AR platform controls you would expect, but has the added benefit of a unique serial number and functional mock Bolt Release for easier adjustment of the HOP unit and enhanced realism. When the Charging Handle is pulled to the rear, the mock bolt will lock to the rear allowing you to make adjustments to the HOP unit inside the dust cover. Press the Bolt Release Button on the nearside of the receiver to shut it again.
The top of the receiver has a full length 20mm RIS rail running down the length of the handguard, which comes out of the box with a set of flip-up iron sights installed. At the rear of the receiver you will find an ambidextrous Sling Plate for you to attach a sling from either side of the gun, which is great news for left-handed players. There is also a front and rear QD Sling Socket if you would rather attach QD Sling Points. The six position Crane Stock has a cool aesthetic and is easily accessed by pulling down the latch on the Rubber Butt Pad and opening the rear of the stock, for quick access to the Deans connector inside.
Internally, this Airsoft Electric Gun has a wealth of up-rated goodies which make the replica excellent value for money. The inner barrel is a 255mm 6.03mm precision barrel, the reinforced V2 gearbox features a full Steel teeth Polycarbonate Piston, CNC Machined Steel Gear Set (13:1) 8mm bearings, CNC Machined Aluminium Silent Cylinder and Piston Head, Bearing Spring Guide and a High Speed Motor. The Gearbox is a Quick Change Spring design for easy power changes, and the combined MOSFET and Microswitch Trigger make for an excellent Trigger Pull and user experience, with features such as low-voltage cutoff to prevent locking of the gears.

Special Instructions
The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
