Description

With it's compact design, Army Armament brings us a solidly built compact 1911, featuring full metal construction, it has an impressive build for this price range.

The frame and slide are made of Alloy, which leads to a chunky overall build of 699g, which gives a realistic weight and feel to the pistol, with the slide itself featuring cut grooves towards the back of the slide, allowing for extra grip for quick cocking action.

Ironsights are fixed in place at the front and rear of the pistol if you ever find yourself aiming.

The barrel, trigger and hammer are silvered which is an eye catching contrast set against the black of the slide and body, and the stippled faux wooden grips provide ample grip even when wearing gloves.

The replica can be split down like any Airsoft pistol to access the gear HOP and clean internal components, simply remove the slide by pulling down the hammer, then pull the slide back as if to cock it, then slide it forward and off.

While the magazine is designed for this compact form factor, the pistol will also function with other 1911 magazines if you find yourself wanting more ammo capacity or already have a different 1911 of your own.

If you're looking for a compact sidearm for roleplay skirmishes where you're likely to be "searched for weapons", a small last resort sidearm or just fancy a compact piece of history, the R45A1 is neat little piece of kit that looks and feels the part.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
