Description

This Airsoft Electric Gun is based on the AKS-74U platform and offers a highly realistic external construction which is a mixed of Sheet Steel and Zinc Aluminium Alloy for a solid weight and rugged feel. The CM.045 platform has long proven itself as an amazing balance of quality, price point and skirmish effectiveness, and now comes offered with a plum coloured, textured Handguard as well as magazine.

The Receiver, flash hider, dust cover and folding stock (as well as the catch) has been made from sheet steel like the real thing, with special attention paid to the folding stock catch which is a likely part to break after abuse. The outer barrel assembly, gas block, rear sight and dovetail side rail are made from zinc Aluminium alloy to make it robust and add to the realistic and hefty weight, to bring it to a total of 2.685kg.

The replica features a side folding stock which is very useful for transport/storage, or for clearing very tight buildings. The magazine is ambidextrous as with most AK platforms which makes it friendly for left handed players. The fire selector offers safe, semi and automatic fire modes which are easily selected by flicking the plate to the desired position. The flash hider can be unscrewed to reveal a typical AK style thread which can accept PBS style suppressors. This thread can then also be removed (once you have taken out the grub screw) to reveal a standard 14mm CCW Thread for standard Airsoft suppressors. The slider-type HOP Unit can be accessed by pulling back on the mock charging handle, and adjustments made by pushing the slider (towards the rear is more HOP). The battery is housed underneath the dust cover, accessed by pressing the button at the rear of the dust cover to raise the entire assembly. It is hinged so that it doesn't remove completely, but try to avoid hitting the dust cover with it open to avoid damage to the hinges. The ironsights are very easy to use in typical AK fashion, and can be adjusted to ensure you're hitting on the mark.

Internally the replica features a host of new parts to improve on this already awesome platform. An alloy HOP chamber, reinforced gearbox, steel 7mm bushings, steel gears, directional piston head, Aluminium piston sleeve and a reinforced spring guide w/ bearings all work together to achieve optimal performance and lifespan from the gun.

Included in the box is a 500rnd Bakelite style high capacity magazine which is filled with BBs from the top Fill Window, and wound from the bottom to feed BBs into the gun.

Special Instructions

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
