The CYMA CM.051 is a replica of the classic 'Chicago Typewriter' Thompson Submachine Gun, AKA the "Tommy Gun". The CM.051 comes complete with all the correct furniture, in a beautiful and well-toned Faux Wood finish.

This version of the Thompson has a few key differences from the M1A1 Military variant, mainly cooling fins on the barrel and the integrated Foregrip with/ finger grooves. Description

This Airsoft Electric Gun is a battery-operated replica of the Thompson Submachine Gun, in its' infamous civilian layout; the Chicago Typewriter. This variant of the firearm has a Drum Magazine, Integrated Foregrip and cooling fins on the barrel, to help deal with the tremendous amount of rounds the real thing can tear through in a matter of minutes. This variant of the Thompson design is famous for its use by gangsters, but was also used by the British forces during WW2 when it became apparent that SMGs are not only for gangsters!

The CYMA CM.051 Thompson is made to a great standard using Alloy for the external metal parts of the gun, such as the entire Outer Barrel Assembly and Receiver. The Faux Wood furniture on the Foregrip, Pistol Grip and Stock is done to a great standard using Polymer, and is both convincing and tough. The Receiver controls are simple enough, with separate levers for Semi / Automatic fire modes and Safe / Fire, all easily controlled and within easy reach of your thumb. The Magazine Release is also within easy reach, needing to be lifted upwards to release the Magazine. The 550rnd Drum Magazine is a High Cap Design, needing to be filled with BBs by pouring them into the Fill Window at the top of the Mag, and winding the large lever on the front of the Mag to feed BBs. Just place the Magazine into the grooves by the mag well and gently slap it into place to seat it. The CYMA CM.051 is rear wired, and has plenty of room for most Battery types in the Stock, however we recommend a 9.6v NiMH Block Battery. To access the Battery Compartment, simply pull back on the Butt Plate and twist it. Opening the spring-loaded door can help to achieve a purchase on the Butt Plate to pull it backwards.

Included in the box is an Alloy constructed 550rnd High Capacity Drum Magazine, Basic Sling, 8.4v 1100mAH NiMH Block Battery, EU Pin Charger and Instruction Manual. FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
