    Description

The world famous AK47, is an absolute classic, and also makes for a great replica and starting off point into the world of Airsoft skirmishing.

The CM.522 Airsoft gun is a fine replica of the world famous AK47 platform; if you're a fan of this platform you can skirmish with a piece of history.

Keeping to the style of the original the front of the barrel features a fixed sight working in tandem with the rear tangent open sight, for good peripheral vision, for when you need a little more accuracy for those longer range targets. The barrel is constructed from tough alloy, with the handguard built from lightweight polymer, as is the pistol grip, body and stock, while still in keeping with the classic AK aesthetic; It still has an authentic faux wood texture to it. The lightweight construction also facilitates a speedy run and gun playstyle, a rifle able to move at lightning speeds between objectives!

For ease of carrying, the rifle is fitted with two sling attachments along the middle of the barrel and at the rear of the before on the left hand side, allowing you to attach the sling of your choice.

The magazine, constructed from sturdy alloy is a high capacity magazine, holding an impressive 525 BB's, easily reloaded by winding the wheel at the bottom of the mag, so you can lay down fire to your hearts content!

The gun is super comfortable to hold and the fire controls are very easy to use, just like the real one, easily reached with the middle finger, moving the selector from safe to semi and full auto.

With the AK47 being rear wired the battery compartment is located in the rear of the stock, easily accessed by the quick release button on the butt plate. This reveals a mini Tamiya connect, the most common AEG connector type, for which we would recommend an 8.4V 1600mAh Ni-MH Block Battery, although the Tamiya connector will also accept LiPo batteries and potentially larger size Ni-MH or LiPo batteries as the storage compartment is quite large.

All in all the CM.522 is an affordable airsoft gun that is incredibly versatile, and reliable, which is can be used in either close, mid or long range combat thanks to CYMA's tried and true hop up unit or can kick some ass in CQB due to it's incredible weight saving features and ease of handling. A great starter gun with a classic aesthetic for those of you who want to get into Airsoft skirmishing with an iconic bit of kit.
